Sabrina was so tempted to just take Dorcas and figure everything else out after. But, she didn’t want to just replace her Dorcas with a new model. She wanted her Dorcas back and that meant being a bit more patient. That was the part that was going to drive her mad. She didn’t want to have Dorcas so far away. But, Dorcas had mentioned something that Sabrina had never thought of. All of the Weird Sisters rather than just Dorcas.
She wasn’t sure how the other two would take Dorcas being her first choice. Surely that power dynamic would cause some upset. But, this Dorcas hadn’t been without her sisters yet. Maybe it would be alright to simply dispose of the other two as she’d done before. But, perhaps only having Dorcas was where she’d gone wrong? Perhaps that was why she’d lost Dorcas. She just hadn’t felt safe allowing Prudence to be kept anywhere near the castle, near her throne. And, well, she was righteously pissed at Agatha for the mine incident. But, she could stop that from happening. It would mean that she never lost Harvey… Or would it? Time travel was a mess. But, it was necessary.
Sabrina was surprised when Dorcas spoke, nodding a bit. Backbone. They needed her to show some backbone. Well, this version of her could do just that. She’d thrown most of the Weird Sisters to be tormented by the highest bidder for eternity. She’d literally tortured a man to death in a public forum. But, that had been for protection and out of grief. She liked to believe that she wasn’t that person. Though, honestly, that was the person that witches respected. “I’ll… Um… I’ll try. Thank you, Dorcas.”
“Oh please, ugh you’re so annoying. Get an inch of power and maybe, maybe something a girl could appreciate and then you get all awkward about it,” Dorcas said, trying to sneer and not doing a good job of it at the moment.
She just stared at Sabrina strangely and rolled her eyes, strutting off and maybe, possibly swaying her hips more than she usually would. She didn’t know why she felt like putting in such work or showing off for the blonde.
“Why don’t you put some effort into it, Spellman. Who knows, maybe we could be friends, you could learn a thing or two,” she said, and then snapped the fingers of her left hand and vanished.
She wasn’t strong but she could be subtle, and her mind could hide itself almost completely. So she veiled herself, hid herself in magic so she could turn back around, just staring at Sabrina thoughtfully. She didn’t realize that Sabrina was likely strong enough to sense something of her anyways, especially with the bond even closed as it was.
