There is only one intended black person in the upper left, because I wanted to add some diversity to the fishermen

Yes, the merman is lighter in skin color than the fishermen, he is a deep-sea creature, and the fishermen are under the sun all day - they are tan, I hope that tracks logically

Please, don't read into the piece in a wrong way, there were no such intentions behind this art idea

Hello! He's not quite an oc, I just wanted to draw some gore and came up with this idea Tho I did think about some oc stuff it's not really my thing About pain, idea was that he does feel it, but if you're more comfortable with this piece that he doesn't, then so be it

Saw this tweet and was genuinely shocked bc this is the best representation of my eyesight (blind in my left eye) I have ever found. It's just the right amount of blurring and form I can usually see when I shut my right eye

Despite he using his glasses here his vision is still very blurry and it just makes it even more relatable to me 😭😭 he really is skilled bc I can assure you that writing/drawing like this is horrible

Edit: I have amblyopia (lazy eye): my brain favours one of my eyes and ignores the other one, leading to my vision becoming progressively weaker, as far as I'm aware there is no surgery and treatment is mostly effective in children! (I found out about it when I was already too old for it)
