Being anti-endo is ableist. Please take the time to learn how and why endogenic systems exist. As traumagenic systems, we could be great allies to people who are so often misrepresented in this community.

Bro the endo community has been more accepting of those things than any other community. I would know. I’ve been in the pro endo community. Once you accept endos you have to accept all of that other nasty shit, it’s what radinclusivity means (which is a major part of the pro endo community). I ain’t gunna argue with you though as I don’t have the energy. Look at your community and you’ll see it.

My other posts on the subject were about Simply Plural, specifically. And to be fair, the creators have not said one way or another if they support using it for OCs. It's my personal opinion that it would be more beneficial to encourage more people to use it, and support it on Patreon.

Pluralkit is another story. From their FAQ:

Dear anti-endos: please stop gatekeeping resources your community didn't make. Especially when the actual creators have given explicit permission for anyone to use those resources.

You are welcome to use them all you want. But YOU DON'T OWN THEM. You don't get to decide who does or does not use them.

I don't even own them. But at least I'm not part of a community that despises the creators of these resources. Like, given how often anti-endos use "endos DNI" as a shorthand for "pro-endos DNI," this blog probably wouldn't even want the creators of either of these resources to interact with them.

Yet they feel entitled to police who uses the resources they created?

Again, accessibility aids are tools specifically for disabled people. But Simply Plural was made by the pro-endo community for disordered and non-disordered systems alike. It doesn't qualify by that definition.

And here we can see @sithis-syscourse's opinion on the community that built and funds the resources they want so desperately to police and control.

And again, anyone is welcome to use the resources the pro-endo community has built. I think it would be cruel to gatekeep anti-endos from them, since if we did, they wouldn't have much left that they could use.

But you didn't build this.

Just because you can use resources built by this community you hate doesn't give you any sort of ownership over them.

You don't get to speak on behalf of the community you hate or decide who has a right to use their resources.

Finally, if you actually cared about the well-being and stability of the app itself, instead of just wanting to gatekeep resources you falsely see as belonging to you, you would be encouraging singlets to support it on their Patreon so the creators can continue to update and support the app for everyone.
