Welcome to Sitting In Silence,

I write, journal, do witchcraft, and make weird art. You can read what I'm up to here (informational posts will be posted on that blog and here). I'm also certified as a Death Doula by UVM, and work closely with people in crisis.

Yalls reactivity to me being me on my own blog just shows me and others that I have so much power over the way you feel, think, and behave. So thank you for that, maybe this should be a learning experience to these self proclaimed leaders and supposedly skilled witches. Because by being this vulnerable you show that you lack the qualities of a leader and the knowledge of a skilled witch

It's also very VERYYY telling that this community has to work hard to control and create a narrative for their community to believe. People who need to control a narrative and round up a group of people to target and harass a single individual for posting on their own blog shows clearly who's in the wrong and trying to hide it.

Truthful people don't need a community to validate their truth, they speak truth to power and stand on it.

Cult squad 2.0 is now taking money from their followers under very sketchy means (Where is this money actually going? Why do you decide where this communities money goes?).

On top of that the questions this community is asking of its members for is such dangerous information for people to be giving out in witchcraft spaces. Asking your community to disclose their closest spirits to them is such a red fucking flag in traditional witchcraft. Because why the fuck do you wanna know about another witches familiars and spirit guardians when that is such easy information to weaponize?

Beginners in witchcraft NEED to take an abundance of caution, especially as this cult starts to press it's members for private information and money.

It has been such a good week full of old magic hitting their targets hard!

One curse for a client got it's target fired from a job, and one I did ages ago just lead to the target having a stroke and being hospitalized. (Now I'm so soooo curious how other cursework is panning out for their targets 🤔 wouldn't be shocked to hear that some witches are having a very hard week.)

Idk what's in the air or how the current astrological climate is contributing to this, but im so fucking here for it.

~Driving Targets from Their Jobs//Client Work~

Called on martial spirits to remove two parties from a client's work environment. 2 spicey peppers were filled with taglocks, oil, and a powder to get people moving on their way quickly were the focus of this rite, and 9 handmade martial candles burned around them. All atop a triangle and martial seals.

A lot of my recent magic involves me making as much as of it myself as possible. From using thread i handspun to candles I made myself from wax, all being blessed with herbs I try to gather myself locally. These factors have created such a sense of power and peace in the work I do for myself and clients.

A white man I knew in the occult once told me that HE was the first to use slate boards for sigils and because he shared photos of him doing so suddenly others got the idea from him. And this is a person with the ego the size of the moon, so I expect nothing less than these bullshit grandiose claims.

Now today I'm scrolling through the internet and see people far more experienced in traditions this man claims to practice, using slate boards, talking about how he learned this from his godparents on a post. This man is from half a world away, deeper into this tradition, and is showing a clear line of transmission.

Huh. Funny. Did this random American invent this, or did they learn it from their godparents and lied to me? One is faaaaar more likely than the other

I pluck her for flowers and leaves, pulling and picking. Her flesh moves and bends for my hands, bowing her head towards the setting sun.

She whispers in my hands, "I can't wait to be useful. Please make me useful."

You can always tell if someone actually works with fairies or is bullshiting you based on how they describe fairy queens. If the writter only knows them as bubbly floral spirits of berries and trees then they're likely feeding you shit. These spirits have more tooth and claw to them, as grimoires tell us they're ruled by the moon a planet great for necromancy.

It's sad to see people falling for Instagram witch scams where people who know nothing about a topic can suddenly become an authority because they're selling you something related. This bias is dangerous and leads to people giving their money to scammers who don't actually do the magic they're selling you (and trust me, I knew these people behind the scenes and they get off knowing people are gullible enough to give them money for empty charms).

Do your research, and buy magic objects and services from people you trust to be doing the practices they're selling to you and not their special interest of the week

~Working With The Almadel~

The fact that people give Daaht Darling Aka Gorgina Rose any of their time after her blatant nazi shit is insane to me. As soon as I see an account that follows me following her I immediately block.

You are who you associate with, and you know what they say,

"If there's a Nazi sitting at a table and ten other people are sitting there talking to him, you got a table with eleven Nazis."

The deeper i get into ceremonial solomonic magic the more I learn that solomonic magic is an earth based practice. It's completely oriented around the position of the earth to other celestial bodies with a focus on time and directional powers. This is what modern witchcraft wants to be, but frequently fails to achieve

So I've been thinking about the whole Alexreadstarot situation and spiritual personalities converting to Christianity/dominant religions. And all i can think to say is, "okay. And this matters why...?"

Parasocial relationships are very real and hard to break away from once you've built them in your head, but this is on you as an individual to see and work through in yourself. If you saw her and her content as a "safe" place to learn and grow that's awesome, but she is allowed to have that space to grow in her own life too. Even if it isn't in ways you like.

My gut tells me this is likely who she's been this whole time and the community bought into the social media performance of it all. Which is on her audience and not her.

This situation should be a reminder to us all that social media personalities are just personas, and not real. Especially in the spiritual realm

Angelic Communication as a Necromancer

The majority of the magic I do involves me sitting in a cemetery late at night conjuring the dead, talking with the land, and putting demons to work for me. This has been my practice for the majority of my adult life. The exception being a few moments of reprieve in between where I petition angels and/or saints. Frequently just to be outright rejected. Such was the case with Saint Expedite, where in the middle of a conjuration of him he didn't come, so upon my 3rd call to him the picture I had of him hanging over my altar came falling to the floor and shattered. Breaking only in the area around his face. He clearly didn't like being called by a dirty necromancer and made this known. I even called upon some of my infernal allies for clarity, and was told that many elevated dead (saints) and angels dislike the smell of necromancers, as we tend to reek of the forgotten dead. I was advised strongly by spirit to not directly call on any angels and find infernal powers until I properly cleansed myself.

Well here we are 8 years later, still a necromancer but a wiser one. Scent has become a bigger focus in my practice, especially as I've come to see that other magicians strongly utilize spirit's scenes of smell in magic as well as in other grimoiric texts. Even still I wasn't getting the best results. Angels now come in when called, especially if the smell in a room is proper for their domain, but this manifestation was unclear and not tangible.

Now in my return to angelic magic I've come to find a balance. While spirits still tell me I reek of necromancy, it's more so about the stench i carry and not about my ritual space. I've done a very good job of keeping my necromantic spirits away from the altar I've been using for angelic conjurations, even using 2 different rooms in my home for their ritual work. This distance between the heavenly and infernal was helpful for allowing my growth in the occult, yet in the moment i never realized the magnitude of this move. This move has allowed me to engage with spirits in a whole new way, and I'm so grateful for it. As I'm now able to commune with the angelic realm without resistance.

This angelic communication now begins through the realm of sun as I begin my Almadel ritual work.
