I am a smoker

The other night I was watching a commercial about one of those new water vapor cigarettes.  While the guy was talking about it there was a disclaimer at the bottom of the screen that said where state laws allow.  Are people so anti cigarette smoke that they don't even want to see people using the fake cigarettes?  I am sorry but I think that is just silly.   I consider myself a considerate smoker I do not smoke around people who don't.  I excuse myself.  Some might say they don't like the smell of my clothes afterwards and that bugs them well maybe I don't like the smell of their body sprays or deodorant or perfume or shampoo or just their plain body odor.  If nonsmokers don't want to even see people smoking fake water vapor cigarettes and make it illegal then maybe the smokers should ban together and make something silly  like Kayaking illegal.

Mama said knock you out

Yesterday I bruised all the knuckles on my left hand pretty bad.  I iced it right away so it doesn't hurt to bad today.  It looks like I punched someone. As tempting as that is at times I am not a fighter.  I was trying to do a cherry drop from my friend's kid's play set at there house.  For those who don't know what a cherry drop is well it is when you hang upside down and swing till you let your feet go and then land on the ground and say Tada!  On problem the play set's beam sits maybe 6 feet off the ground and it is square not round.  With it being square my legs couldn't slide off it so I had to whip my legs down and it being only 6 feet up I was to tall.  (Never thought I would say that, 5 foot 2 inches)  My first attempt went okay it wasn't beautiful or anything but I didn't land on my face or anything.  It was my second attempt that got me.  I still didn't land on my face but my hand flew out and smacked on of the side supporting beams.  It was graceful.  I guess I am not 10 anymore.  The bad thing is I don't think that I learned my lesson.

bored house wives and porn

I am new to this site.  I was playing around today and I searched bored house wife to see what other women at home have to say.  I was very surprised.  My girlfriend called and I told her that I searched "bored house wife" then she stopped me and asked if I found porn.  I couldn't believe that she had guessed.  Am I the only one that is so naive?

Solution for Parentheses wrinkle lines around your mouth

I have found the solution for those nasty parentheses around your mouth.  It involves no cream so it is great for sensitive skin.  All you have to do is smile all the time and people can't see them.  Let's call it the Mona Lisa treatment.

Battle of the spoons

My favorite time of the day is when I am still in bed fighting back consciousness.   John instinctively notices grabs me and pulls me in close. I love waking up this way.  There is one problem.  I like one leg bent and the other straight out.  John sleeps with both legs bent.  I push his bottom leg straight then he pops it back up again.  We do this over and over again till one of two things happen.  We either roll over and I cuddle him or I get out of bed to start the morning chores (feeding the dogs and making coffee).  John won the battle of spoons this morning.

Going home

We had a visitor for the last two weeks.  Our neighbors dog, Gretta.  She is going to be very excited when she sees her mommy.  It was fun having her and Cady and Baloo will miss her.  Well Cady probably won't and Gretta won't miss either of them.

I love this site for gardening.  Unfortunately I do not have a green thumb but I can dream.  Someday my garden may look like one in the magazine.  There are people who have the knack for it, those who don't care and those who try but it is obvious that they do not know what they are doing.  I am the third.

Beautiful Creatures

Just watched it tonight and I loved it!  I love the scenery in the south.  The dialog was cleaver and made me giggle.  I actually watched it twice and I guess the first time I watched it I didn't notice that it took place in South Carolina.  I thought it took place in Louisiana.  Does South Carolina really look like that?  Well I have never been to Louisiana either so does Louisiana look like that too?
