Set the scene

8.26pm I'm sitting outside in the undercover bit. The sun had set and the temperature has dropped. The blue icicle fairy lights have turned on creating little stars in the night. I can see a few possums jumping around the trees, waking early tonight. The light pours out through the windows behind/next to me on the left. I'm facing the east of our garden in the left corner, the road is starting to quiet down and the night creatures are slowly creeping into the night. I'm listening to 'Fall at your feet' cover by Boy & Bear and I can her some early season cicadas in the distance. The train line is a few houses west of our place and a long supply train is going passed its engine hums in the distance. The peacefulness of my surroundings is slowly working its way into my soul making me calm and content.
