literally the worst [closed;sixthrossius]
When hearing the news of being able to go back home, Marco only amused the thought once, laughing it off and thinking he’d never leave if only to keep the memories and relationships he worked so hard to build for so long. Even knowing that Muraku would be leaving to go back to his world, he joked around about it with the younger the night prior, hoping to ease his own mind before saying goodbye to the boy he’d come to grow so attached to.
But, waking up to see the same boy he previously thought would be gone from his life the next day only brought total confusion and a bit of fear rather than joy and relief. Marco even becomes startled when the other rustles awake from his small, make-shift bed across the room. Unsure of what to do, he remains quiet until Muraku sits up and wishes him a good morning—something that feels almost routine, but it couldn’t be a standard with some person he doesn’t even know, right?
“Ah… M..morning? Sorry, this might sound a little rude to wake up to… But… Who are you? How did you get into my room?”
Jolting awake, the rossiun teen sits up immediately. Surely, this should be home right- in his, uh… Home, probably…? He didn’t remember, though, he does remember this is the same bed he usually sleeps in. He blinks, and looks around to make sure he is right. It is the room he shares with Marco, but he was sure he should’ve returned home? Why is he here…?
He notices that the other teen wakes up in almost the same manner as him. A bit wary, Muraku speaks up- a bit hesitant he is in doing so, but he tries his best to remain calm. A part of him knows that staying calm in such situations are the best, “Good morning, Marco-…” He falls silent at his reaction to seeing Muraku in the room they share.
“I…” He pauses for a moment, to consider his words. The rossiun teen bites his lip as he stays silent. What should he do?
“It’s just that I don’t have a home, and you allow me to live here. Do you not remember, Marco?” He begins to explain, he only stretches the blanket just a bit saying all this. However, most of it is true, this is how he did come into this home anyway, “I’m Muraku Houjou…” He continues to talk in a calm voice to not upset Marco in any way possible, “It’s alright, I apologize. I don’t mean to intrude… Is everything alright…?”
