Will this ever be re-opened?
Hi! I was planning to open it early next year so I could get matches out around Valentines day :) In the mean time, @acotargiftexchange is also a great way to meet new people as long as you're willing to make a creative gift for someone.

Friendship Match Statistics
Since we have a fairly large sample size of SJM fans who signed up (over 80 people!) I thought it would be interesting to share some stats about the fandom as a whole.
About half of people who signed up believed they contributed most to the fandom through fanfiction, while the least amount through fanart. ACOTAR was by far people's favorite series, no doubt reflected by the fandom size on tumblr.
For each specific series:
Elide was the most popular Throne of Glass character, followed by Manon, but Rowaelin just barely beat out Elorcan for most popular ship. Sorcha was the least popular character, and Chaol x Celeana was the least popular ship.
Cassian and Nesta were the most popular characters, and Nessian the most popular ACOTAR ship, although Feysand and Elucien were almost as popular (Nessian had one more person choose it). Helion x LoA were surprisingly popular, with just over half of people selecting them as a ship they enjoyed. Elriel was surprisingly low, but that's due to the initial friendship match post circulating more among Elucien blogs than Elriel ones, rather than representing the fandom as a whole.
For Crescent City, Ruhn was the most popular, with Bryce and Hunt following behind. Similarly, Ruhn x Lidia was the most popular ship, followed by Bryce x Hunt. The least number of people ship Tharion x Bryce, while Azriel x Bryce was the second least popular.
Once again, thanks to everyone for signing up and participating. The final group of matches should be made in the next day or so.

Maybe you've heard of a marriage pact (or maybe not) but this is the version for any and all fans of ACOTAR, Throne of Glass, and Crescent City. Sometimes this fandom can feel divided, so this is a great way to meet new people and learn that we all have more in common than not.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a friendship pact? How does this work?
The idea comes from marriage pacts which are popular on college campuses. The original idea was to have a backup if you're not married by a certain age, but they've mostly become a way to meet new people. This is the same idea, just with no marriage aspect, and all about the SJM fandom.
Do I need a tumblr to participate?
Unfortunately, to make things easier to organize, you do need to have a tumblr to participate. It doesn't need to be a SJM focused tumblr though, if you contribute to the fandom in other platforms, you're welcome to join.
Will everyone get a match?
Yes! Everyone will receive a match who shares some of their interests.
Is there anything I need to do besides sign up?
Nope, just fill out the form and make sure you reach out to your match. The only thing we ask is that you keep an open mind about whoever you match with!
