OMG I got an email from The Tumblrs that said "Din's Bloggy turned 6 today!" I haz so happeh. teh Tumblrs is wheres I can haz talking like teenager in full meltdown and engage other age-innapropriate behaviorz and spelling. Gawd it's fun. Now that teh Yahoos pwns Tumblr they changed their terms of uses. How many actually read that stuff? Answer: waaaaaaaaaaaay less than 1%. So what's it mean? What's anything mean. My but it is a beautiful spring morning here in Duckberg.

Yow, that Fashion Slaves Gilman show was insane. Here's our next one - a 21+ show this time with Guinness and most excellent pub food at Berkeley's longest running live music venue. I'm particularly excited to hear Victory and Associates - discovered their records last year and love 'em. Plus their singer is a dude named Conan Neutron so how can they possibly go wrong?
Bloggying about Blogging
I made a new blog: EricDin.com. Why not? This here "skalifornia" tumblr is the first blog I ever made. Sometimes neglected, it's always a fave of mine. I love tumblr. It's cute n' fluffeh, like teh best things on teh Internet. Why does it make me talk like four yr old? No matter.
After making a bunch of Wordpress self-hosted sites, the Wordpress interface has become 2nd nature to me, so of course I made my new "me" blog in that format.
One of the first Wordpress sites I made was my band site - Uptones.com. Later I made some music blogs for Matthew King Kaufman's Fun Fun Fun Media company. One of my faves is PublicDomain4U, what a great user experience that is, if you love good old recorded music classics. And who doesn't, really?

The Uptones are set to do another dance contest show, Friday, Oct. 5th in Berkeley. This is one of my favorite kinds of gigs we do - always a great time.
