Instant Dad Mode must just be like, hardwired into mandalorians, because we’ve got Mando seeing Baby Yoda and going “welp nothing for it i guess this is my son now” and then also Kal Skirata, who saw a bunch of scared little boys and INSTANTLY grabbed the nearest kaminoan and threatened to rip him limb from limb if he hurt his new sons. 0 to Ultra Dad in .03 seconds. 

i bet that mandalorians just come home all the time with like, random kids, stray kittens, lost ducklings. I wonder if there’s a problem with mandos adopting kids that… didn’t actually need adopting. Like, some mando sees a kid without a nearby adult and it instantly activates Primal Dad Mode and when the kid’s actual parents come to pick him up from the park or whatever the kid’s got this looming armored Death Dad teaching him how to knife fight or something.

Headcanon that at one point someone rips mandos helmet off during a battle or something and the camera just goes around him the whole time so we can’t see his face. Then, when the battle is over and he goes limping around looking for his helmet, it starts floating back to him and its bebe yoda giving it back to him. We see him with his eyes closed and head turned sideways so he doesnt see mando’s face bc he understands how important it is to him to have his face covered. And mando just takes it, puts it on and just goes, “thanks little guy”.

Hey friends, it’s Meg!

Glad to be back at TUTOR TUESDAY, and a big thanks to Paul for taking over for two weeks! Big thanks to @wr3h for todays topic! I’m hoping to branch out more into styles/techniques in photoshop if y’all enjoy how this one went! I’m always open to recommendations, feel free to send them here or to my personal. How to remove backgrounds (the easy way)

 First, pick a picture with a strong difference between your focus and the background. The easiest ones will always be photo shoots with solid backgrounds.

Today I’m going to use this photo:

1) Open up your photo and select the Selection tool. Make sure it’s on plus.

2) Click and drag around your focal point until you have your background selected. Switch to the minus to remove parts if it selects too much. 

3) Next, invert the selection.

4) Then add a vector mask by clicking the square with a circle in it.

Example: Your layer should look like this.

5) Double click the black and white box on your layer and this window will pop up.

6) Select the Refine Edge Brush Tool and make sure it’s on plus. 

7) Zoom in and paint around the edges of the hair or finer details. If it adds too much, click the minus sign and repaint over the spot.

Example: The left half of her hair has been brushed over while the right side has not. You can notice a considerable difference bectween the hardness of the pixels. (also, feel free to adjust the Global Refinements/Edge Detection to your liking, just play around with the sliders and you’ll catch on quick!)

8) Click OK and review your image. 

9) Reselect the black and white vector mask and change your PS colors to black and white. Using the brush tool, go in and paint back (or out) details. Or, use the Polygonal lasso tool to make a selection and fill it with black to remove or white to add. Here, I removed a section between her arm and her waist.

10) Finally, add a background color/pattern and add any psds/actions/etc.

I got a lot of asks about this so I made a tutorial on how I was able to emulate the 80s aesthetic, please keep in mind I’m not an expert and what I put here is just what I personally did. I hope you guys like it and hope it helps
