Gulping, Hermione ran her gaze up and down his tall frame before meeting his eyes. They were closer to molten silver than grey now.Ā
āAnd what will?ā she asked, raising her chin proudly.
TheĀ smackĀ of the book hitting the floor made her flinch but Lucius ignored it, bending towards her. āPractice.ā
Their faces had become so close that Hermioneās eyes were forced to flicker back and forth between Luciusā.
āHad a lot of that?āĀ
That smile again ā the tiniest of mocking curves ā drew her eyes down to his lips and she flicked her tongue out to wet her own.Ā

I donāt think we talk enough about this story! One of my favourites šš Just a little note: I donāt own the story or the characters, Iām just illustrating a scene from An Arrangement of Mutual Advantage by AbitofWit. This is still a work in progress, I just wanted to share a moment I really love from it.šš I added the tie just to make the scene a bit more dramatic āØ

Tonight Iām kind of in a blue mood, and my mind went to my beloved Hermione..
Iāve read so many Lumione fanfics, but Iāve never found one where Lucius is the one who leaves herāmaybe because he thinks itās for her own good.
Iām not good at writing at all, so instead I started drawing, trying to imagine what Hermione would be like with a broken heart. And honestlyā¦ I think sheād cry. Like anyone would.
I added Crookshanks next to her, because when my heart was crying , I always had my cat with me. šš

Lucius never intended to notice ā he didnāt want to ā but when his gaze flitted down, it caught on the way her new position directly in front of the roaring fire had rendered the baggy edges of her nightdress gauze-like.
She was a silhouette and nothing more, the truly intimate details of her body granted the discretion of shadow. All the same, to see the gentle curves of the sides of her small breasts and the shadowy slope of her waist transitioning to the flare of her hips made his stomach drop as though heād just missed a stair, the amused curve of his lips faltering and fading.
There was something about the combination of the warm light, the suggestive shadows, and the floaty folds of the nightgown that affected him. It softened a body he had come to associate with violence, resistance, and pain; lent it a sensuality that he had thought himself long past capable of discerning.
At her thighs, Hermioneās fingers began to agitatedly fist in her nightdress, lifting it just a fraction. Ankle. Shin. Real flesh where before there had only been shadow and imagination.
āWhat?ā As though Hermioneās voice held a leash to Luciusā eyes, his gaze was yanked back to her face. āWhat is it?ā

I know my Lumione drawings wonāt get as many likes/hearts as my Dramione ones, but I really like this pairing.
I still have no idea how to draw a proper kissing scene š I just love this relationship like in Jane Eyre ā that touch-but-not-touch tension, that little āalmost thereā momentā¦ itās such a vibe.
