A cup of tea Life naturaly brings many twists and turns. Sometimes you just need a cup of tea. (adding a shot of Grand Marnier inside can help) Relaxing with a cup of tea gives you time for reflection.

Laundry at home, Finally! 

  I have graduated from the laundry mat and I couldn’t be more happy!  I never minded having to do laundry. It’s a necessary task. There is nothing like the smell of fresh clean clothes.  What I do mind is having to drag my clothes to the laundry mat and the constant need for quarters. Annoying!

Hawker Food in Singapore

In Singapore we have Hawker Food, which is basically street food.   There are Hawker Centres  in every neighborhood.  They are usually located outside with shelter over top.  To me, they have a cafeteria feel, and I mean that in the best way possible. My beautiful orchid. Here in Singapore there are orchids in people's gardens. It is quite a joy to see all the different species, and for free. They must like the weather here. It must be the humidity. Flowers are like kisses from heaven!

I fell in love with this building because of its shade of blue. I enjoyed a cup of coffee while I sketched the outline. I couldn't wait to get home to add in the watercolor. It was wonderful to have the time to sit and enjoy myself doing what I love.

There are so many cats in my new neighborhood. I would consider them “Wild” cats verses “Stray” cats because they have always lived out doors. There is a lady who feeds them everyday. I’ve seen it. They know her, follow her, and love her. They are cats of leisure. I enjoy seeing them everyday. It’s like having a pet without the responsibility. They all seem happy, healthy, and at home!
