Akito is implied to be talented at art, to a degree that would probably upset Ena; but because he doesn't pursue it there's never any issues between them over it. However, I haven't heard a lot of discussions of the inverse.

Ena sings as part of a wildly successful online music group, despite putting far less time and effort into her singing than Akito does into his own. It's true that Kanade can fix up the vocals (somewhat) and Ena never performs live, so she doesn't need to be quite as skilled as Akito to make quality music, but it doesn't change the fact that songs she's featured on are pulling 2 million views. And Akito feels the same way about his singing as Ena does about her art—haunted by a lack of innate talent.

I don't know if Akito knows about Ena's participation in Niigo, but I can't imagine it'd be good for his mental to know she's such a successful vocalist, seemingly off of talent alone.

In Watcher culture, the art of poetry is often used as mantras or, for mere mortals, vague threats to keep them in line. However, ever since they were stripped of their divinity, Grian and Pearl have used it in a different way. 

Pearl’s poetry is more traditional to Watcher culture and is very flowery, often rhyming and using strange but elegant metaphors to express herself and the things she sees around her. The beauty of spring, the stars above, the goddess known as GeminiTay. It often alludes to classical mythology or celestial imagery. The best way to describe it is Shakespeare but in modern English. 

Grian’s is more choppy, often strange and unconventional, full of misspellings and errors. He never liked the fancy words used in his old culture, but his love for poetry was revamped by Joe’s strange writings and the stupid Disney musical numbers Scar would sing out loud. It is mostly filled with pop culture references and things the other hermits would relate to. It’s not good, but it’s better than mindless chanting. Think of it as flarf poetry. 

When they aren’t busy with anything on the server, the two of them spend hours together in a peaceful nook somewhere, editing each other’s writings and giving each other tips.

Grian admires Pearl’s sophisticated wording. Pearl admires Grian’s unconventional creativity. Together, they bond.
