What is it that you're afraid of? Are you scared of facing yourself?
The power of the Spiral!! With it we shall pierce the heavens, Simon!
The moon! It's...leaking
So like the Genshin lore community has been connecting Sal Vindagnyr to Khaenri'ah for years based just on the name alone, because the name is cobbled together from Norse words, and Khaenri'ah takes Norse inspiration.
Yet, I had someone relentlessly arguing with me in a comment section yesterday insisting that there's "no evidence" to connect Sal Vindagnyr to Khaenri'ah and that they can't be connected because "everyone in Sal vind died"
No evidence?
Aside from the NORSE INSPIRED NAME
How about the Scribe's Box that specifically mentions how they've heard of people seeking to create a nation with no gods?
How about the fact that Sal Vind had a special silver Irminsul-like tree that was destroyed by the celestial nail (and later revived by Durin’s blood) and how the lore community has always assumed special ties between Khaenri'ahns and Irminsul. Irminsul is named after the norse cosmos tree Yggdrasil!!!! Plus Dainsleif is the fucking BOUGH KEEPER! LIKE THE BRANCH OF A TREE!
How about the fact that there are ruins in Sumeru that are the same architecture style as Sal Vind, and they are called "Ruins of Dahri," which is an ancient term for Khaenri'ahns used by scholars in the Vahumana darshan?????
Also yeah everyone on the mountain who was near the impact zone of the celestial nail died either during the fall or the aftermath when the mountain froze over, but again those ruins are places besides that mountain. The Pre-Thunderbird Tsurumi civilization has the same ruins and the frescos are the same style. Celestial nails fell in both places. Sal Vindagnyr was probably a capital city of a larger civilization.
NO EVIDENCE MY ASS!!! lmao some people are SO FUCKING COOKED dude.
Let me go on and bring MEN OF LITHIN into this
sea of stars
How come Evernight from HSR is the best way to understand what Hoyo is probably going for with "the moon's reflection?"
Sorry I haven't made any gifsets from the new trailer, I've been working on this lol
