elliedowson:
“I can think of plenty.”
“D’you just not drink at all?”
elliedowson:
“Year after year the only result of green beer I see is green vomit. So no, I really don’t think I would be.”
“What’s wrong with that?”
isobelslug:
“They might be confused. Day dedicated to ingesting poison. Course it is more fun than most days and I imagine they’d like the color scheme.”
“They can blend in with all the green, and the alcohol isn’t bad.”
isobelslug:
“Don’t all the sparkly green lights remind you of ufo’s? I could just about fly away.”
“Not until you said that, but I see it. If aliens did come they’d want to be here for today, yeah?”
elliedowson:
“Each to their own, is all I’m saying- you don’t have to drink green beer to enjoy St Patrick’s Day. There’s plenty else to enjoy at the party. Like giant twister.”
“Ta each ‘is own I guess, but you’d be missin’ out.“
gcatchlove:
“I should tell you not to tell me, but I’m too curious. So, do tell me what’s so wrong about it.”
“You don’t drink for the taste.”
gcatchlove:
“Don’t fancy the taste. Or the headache it gives the morning after.”
“There are so many things wrong there, I don’t know where to start.”
caradocdickborn:
“Go on then, pick your poison, it’s on me.”
Mundungus gestured to his empty glass and quickly asked for “Another” before the stranger could change his mind. “Thanks.”
marymacmudblood:
“I knew a boy once who had a turtle named Franklin. Ran away, actually. Tragic… But I’m sure you’re not interested in that. Actually– what are you doing back there?”
“I was trying to pick the lock,” he said honestly, “but it wasn’t gonna happen. This place is too good.”
matildaslug:
“I’ve got a lot of homework, so whilst this has been fun, I should get going. I’ll probably owl you soon, though, yeah?”
“Invite me over for dinner and I’ll bring dessert.”
caradocdickborn:
“Speaking as your guru, that was unreasonably rude, especially since I was going to buy you a drink.”
“Well you have my apologies good sir. Please, proceed with your plan.”
marymacmudblood:
“I don’t think I did. It’s Mary. And you are?”
“Mary. Nice to meet you. I’m Franklin.”
matildaslug:
“Thoughts are less important if we don’t act on them.”
“Some people might disagree, but I’ll take it.”
marymacmudblood:
“I can’t say I’ve ever had the pleasure or misfortune of meeting one, so there’s no weighing in with an informed opinion for me. But I can’t imagine they’re all bad. Surely what I’ve heard of them is a generalization. It always seems to be the crudest and most roughly opinionated of a society who get heard most often, I suppose because the majority of them are the ones willing to be loud about their thoughts. Gives a bad name to the rest.”
She’d lost Mundungus quickly. He wasn’t even sure how they’d gotten onto this topic. “What’d you say your name was again?”
caradocdickborn:
“What doesn’t qualify me?”
Realizing that he didn’t actually know what the qualifications to be a guru were, Mundungus shrugged. “Fair point. I still don’t want to hear about how sad your life is.”
matildaslug:
“You do not.”
“Nah, but I’ve thought about it.”
marymacmudblood:
“It’s well beyond me. Who knows what they’re thinking.”
“Personally, I’m not a fan of them,” Dung said honestly. He’d spent his fair share of time sneaking around the Forbidden Forest, and the centaurs had never been friendly. “I don’t think it’s a loss for us.”
