What do we perceive when someone (we) moves? What kind of trace are we leaving through time? What is it that “thing” that makes a movement? Is it light? Is it sound? Is it the body’s energy? Is it touch? (But how do we touch? Through which senses?) Maybe “movement” is somewhat similar to making our way through space, reaffirming our presence in this “real” world.
Illusion
"The volume of 3-dimensional objects as typically depicted by the camera lens is of course an illusion of volume, and when actual volume or dimension is played against that flat illusion, its space becomes beautifully ambiguous." —"I am involved in learning to perceive and use light", Robert Heinecken
It is not what we build, but the intensity of what we convey. Future will not be made by new buildings, but by the master that allows hidden and neglected ideas come to life. Consumerism destroyed through rehabilitation. Humanity above disdain.
—Architecture and other ghosts, Thomas Woolridge
Sueños
“I’ve come to realize that we are entities made out of illusions. We make illusions. To remember (s)tart again to fall in love (If anything, it is for that purpose) To fall four our lives and what we do —create.
Matar el tiempo looking for ourselves
That what we see and what we look for relies in
quiénes somos.
Reality colliding
with splendorous light touching vast landscapes filled with windy pastures where towering bulls protect their calfs struggling to stand up walking to higher ground against imminent floods and hurting every possible chance to continue together —the beauty of the light counterposes the tragic feeling and acknowledgment of what needs to be left behind,
in our thoughts,
and then I close my eyelids little by little, drawn by heavy weights of thoughts letting dreams happen outside the boundaries
of the room were I stand contemplating the river flow over shadowed trees, dancing their leaves like feathers over never ending rituals of inexplicable zesty creatures
What has happened? I abandoned thinking. It’s a common practice that is not well known, it’s effect: the power to shift the world’s axis and functioning is just “too much hassle”. Do you remember when you were a child? When you played, got soaked in rain, in mud, anything that was near you. You learnt, you thought in one same activity, it took time for you to process all the information, a more empirical way to react to the world, a natural way of learning. What happened? You learnt by different levels of virtuality, the longing for furious encounters with your surroundings cleared any doubt that you were definitely vulnerable to shifts in the outside world —from temperature, to the comfort of your clothes, to how anxious you felt for touching, for seeing (or not) or any stimuli out of arm length reach. Is it possible that a closer relationship with the digital, with virtual imagery, with "assisted reality" would transform us into functional idiots? Maybe it is trying harder, maybe it is not forgetting (rather than forgetting, admitting) that not everything, or everyone, survives to the realm of change. Why do we have to live here or there? Some places may induce a higher rate of power over our selves. I am vulnerable depending on what I'm exposed to, the amount of information I'm able to receive.

Context is so important, not to mimic but to become part of the place. I wanted a building that acknowledges its surroundings.

A new story of the augmented reality. What do we see and what do we feel? Can we touch with the light that hits our eyes? What are we sensible to?
