mingyu raised his brows when he heard what kihyun was talking about, a chuckle leaving his lips at the thought of kihyun’s mom being supportive of them getting together, and that made his insides feel warmer – once again, the coffee didn’t have anything to do with it. after drinking more of it, mingyu hummed at kihyun’s question. “nothing, really. i just have to spend some time answering comments on yesterday’s video, but that’s that”, he smiled at the boy, looking at the tray and picking the first thing he saw that seemed edible, taking a bite and humming at the taste. not bad.

tried really not to roll his eyes when he heard that mingyu had to do more of his channel that day. really wasn't complaining, kihyun himself knew the difficulties of working like that, but his channel wasn't half of how big mingyu's channel was, and if that meant he had to give 99% of the day's attention to his work, he liked how things were in reality. "i thought i'd have another meeting today, but i woke up to the call from one of the guys at the label saying they had to put off for tomorrow," he shrugged briefly. laid part of his torso in bed then, leaning on his own elbow on the opposite side of where he was sitting, over mingyu's knees. "so you better get ready to have me 24/7 on your feet today."

mingyu let out a laugh when he heard kihyun, winking playfully at him before picking up his own cup of coffee on the tray, taking a sip of it and humming appreciatively, happy for tasting something kihyun had made for him; it brought a warmth to his chest, and he was sure it wasn’t because of the hot coffee. nodding when he heard kihyun’s words, mingyu sighed happily, a smile seemingly permanent on his face. “yes, i’m glad too. i don’t think i’d be able to take things slow when i’ve been dying to have you close to me for the past months.”

kihyun noticed the other's reaction, but tried to slip out of it. he couldn't be able to fall in love with him even more, it was completely impossible with how full his insides felt at that moment. not only out of love, but the satisfaction he felt for being close to the other was indescribable. "i need to text my mom about this plot twist. she was going crazy by us pining around each other like that," the laughter came low, against the cup itself. he himself still had his own warm skin from all the contact they had last night, anywhere that mingyu had touched it was still as if the skin were very soft. he couldn't say he didn't like it. "what are your plans for today, though?"

after a brief moment of just laying there on the bed, mingyu tried to give all his strength to the act of lifting himself up and sitting upright on the bed, resting against the pillows after adjusting them. then, he also adjusted the duvet so he only had his naked torso out, smiling as he looked at the tray he had brought him, shaking his head. “no, no, don’t be sorry. you can use it whenever you want. and i don’t care if you don’t think it’s a big deal, i’m gonna love it anyways just because it was you who made it.”

when he laid the tray on the bed, kihyun took his cup of coffee which was the only thing he had done for himself there, since he wasn't accustomed to having any proper breakfast. if anything, could feel even more flushed with mingyu's words. "stop it. you're just making me blush," he rolled his eyes, but there was no trace of annoy in his action. his fingers played with the edge of the mug he held after sipping his drink. the smile on his face was most likely a permanent thing there. "you know... i thought we'd take longer to work things out, but i'm glad we did it fast. we're not going to waste any minute while together now."

when kihyun mentioned coffee, he allowed himself to open just one of his eyes, squinting against the faint light in the bedroom as he looked at kihyun, sighing softly and contently once he felt his kisses once again, and to just know how that was very much real was amazing to mingyu. when he managed to open both eyes, he chuckled, voice rough when he smiled at the older male. “you made me breakfast? really?” he asked, genuinely surprised as he stretched, groaning in the process. afterwards, he looked at kihyun again, the same smile on his lips. “that’s so… sweet.”

kihyun sat upright on the bed, giving room for the other to wake up properly. with his remarking, he finally felt his face warm a little, but he shrugged as indifferently as he could; which didn't end up working very well because he was already a little flushed. "you did breakfast yesterday, it's no big deal," he decided to stand up, holding the tray he'd brought to the room and a small grin on his face. "it's literally not a big deal, even because i'm not endowed with culinary skills like you, so that limits me a bit. i'm sorry for invading your kitchen that way, by the way."

mingyu frowned a little bit when some movement over the bed startled him out of his sleep, not really understanding what was going on for a minute. the only thing he registered were the kisses on his chest and then neck before kihyun’s voice was hitting his ears and waking him up even more, bringing a smile automatically to the younger’s face when he remembered the previous day. he still had his eyes closed when his hand came up to find kihyun’s, pretending to be annoyed when he pouted. “just… five more minutes.”

he laughed softly against the younger male, pushing his face away slightly so he could observe his face intently still in his almost-sleep. "baby. i made coffee," kihyun himself ended up pouting too, though the other wouldn't see it. "poor coffee, but still," he pressed soft kisses over mingyu's skin again, against the bruised and marks on his neck and around his collarbones (a dozen more than kihyun had already given him before they arrived in their small completion, hell yeah). "so you need to wake up and enjoy my attempt to be romantic because it doesn't happen often, you know?"

kihyun never knew how to cook, so he did his best not to end up burning anything in mingyu's kitchen as much as possible. which ended up constituting in a breakfast of only coffee, eggs, and cereal with fruits he'd found there ----- also wasn't feeling so comfortable so venturing further into the kitchen of the young male like that. he gathered everything in what he hoped was a tray, but even if it wasn't, it would do the job well. when he finished, he carried everything into the room, the dim light coming in from the window helped him to see perfectly mingyu still in his bed,  his naked torso as his hair pointed in all directions. pretty. kihyun couldn't find another definition. left the tray in the desktop that existed in the room when he sat on the bed and lowered his face to distribute a path of kisses from the chest of the youngest to his neck, the smile against his skin was impossible to hold. "time to wake up, sleepy beauty."

mingyu let out a small chuckle once he heard kihyun, wanting to cherish him in every way possible, but for now he’d stick with only that. he noticed his hand coming up, confused for a moment before the dull pain on the spot he touched reminded him of the mark kihyun had left on him, and that left him pondering. was it that noticeable? was he gonna have to cover it up when he needed to go out? did he even want to do that? smiling a bit at his comment, he hesitated for a moment before squeezing kihyun’s hand that was still in his. “i’m so glad you came back into my life.”

the digits caressed the bruise on mingyu's neck, he didn't know how the other would take care of it, if he would expose or hide ----- but he really didn't care, since he knew that he was the only one who could do something like that to him, he was still happy. he smiled widely at him, the kind of smile that showed how much blissful he was feeling. he moved closer to the younger male, sliding his hand to his shoulder as he lowered his face so that his lips pressed against the mark he was admiring seconds ago, feeling the skin warmer against his own lips. "i'm not intending to leave this time though," the voice came in a low tone, perhaps because of the over-proximity between them, perhaps because there was no one else in the world who kihyun wanted to listen to him. just that boy in front of him and everything was fine. "this is a bit crazy,  isn't it?" he raised his face again, staring at the other. "we fell for each other so fast. i found in you what i looked for in other people my whole life."

mingyu let out a small laugh when he heard the boy, nodding vigorously at his question with a smile on his face. “yes, glad you realized that”, he said, not joking at all, but then he was biting down on his bottom lip, allowing himself to take a look at kihyun’s body. it wasn’t much defined, no, but mingyu’s heart jumped so hard at the prospect of the situation that he let out a small sigh before looking back up at kihyun. “you… you’re beautiful, did you know that?”

kihyun felt completely exposed when he had the other facing him directly, with no modesty in his eyes. and it was supposed to be uncomfortable, someone looking at him like that shouldn't have his stomach attacked by butterflies, but he could only like the kind of attention he was getting at that moment. "if not, now i know," he laughed softly, holding mingyu's gaze long enough before he was slipping it to his neck, finding the love bite that had worked back in his room, being much more than one love bite now. the red hue against the other's skin was pretty dark, and kihyun could only feel proud. then held up one hand so that the thumb could press the bruise gently. "you are very beautiful too."

mingyu raised his eyebrows when he heard kihyun, realizing how he must’ve sounded, and then he was automatically shaking his head. the prospect of eating something now sounded really fucking good, to be honest, but the thought of finally having kihyun to himself and being able to actually enjoy it for longer than before was much better. “no, no, don’t worry. i’m fine, just… i need to recharge my batteries”, he chuckled, walking further into the room until he stopped in front of the boy, holding out both of his hands as if wanting him to hold them so he’d uncross his arms.

nodded briefly when he heard the younger male, staring directly at him as he approached, but wasn't expecting the action coming from the other so he stood there for a second, looking from his hands to his face before uncrossing his own arms and put his hands over mingyu's, squeezing them gently. "and i'm your battery now?" he teased, laughing softly at himself. he could feel all the tension they had once in the room before, above them like a heavy cloud, but he didn't believe it was a bad thing.

a frown automatically appeared on mingyu’s face the second he watched as kihyun crossed his arms over his chest, not sure if that was a sign of distaste for him being there now of if he was trying to cover himself up so mingyu wouldn’t see one of the most beautiful things ever. either way, he didn’t like it. nodding after a few more seconds, he gulped and opened the door a bit more, standing on the doorway and not really coming inside the room. “yeah. finally. i feel drained.”

his fingers caressing his tanned skin gently, feeling shivers going down all over his skin under the gaze of mingyu ----- not that he cared, but he didn't want to take things that far if that wasn't the real intention of all this. he let a brief sigh escape his lips then; he should've waited it, right? it was obvious that the other would be tired and he should go to sleep. rest was all kihyun thought of when he finished a video; but on the other hand he never had mingyu so close during those occasions so didn't know what the other preferred. "you should... go rest then," he shrugged, trying to sound as casual as possible. "do you want to eat something? i can do something for you to eat, or we can ask for the food you promised last night, i don't know. whatever you want.”

[…] editing with a raging boner turned out to be hard on the first few minutes, but after only seeing and hearing himself talk, he got soft(er) pretty quickly. mingyu ended up putting the video up forty-five minutes past his deadline. he made sure to tweet about it, saying that something came up and he was late. thankfully, when his video finally was published, even with the not-so-nice internet that day, he let out a huge sigh of relief, turning off his computer without even checking to see if there was something wrong with the video, only standing up and walking out of the room, straight to the one directly across from it. mingyu opened the door a bit and popped his head in, having a difficult time focusing as he saw the current state kihyun was in, gulping down the lump in his throat. “… hi.”

once he thought his hair was already good enough, decided to spread the towel on the chair that existed in the room, running his hand through his soft brown bangs and thought to go to the kitchen to get something to eat and kill some time when he raised his head towards the door and found mingyu there. a smile automatically made way for his lips, but he managed to keep that to himself as he bite the side of his mouth gently, remembering the situation they had encountered themselves a few minutes ago. "hey," greeted the younger, arms crossing in front of his body in a self-protective act, if he remembered it was the first time mingyu was seeing him shirtless and almost felt exposed ---- whenever he thought about it, he had the image of the other taking off his shirt, and not finding him without it already. "did you finish your video already?"

mingyu was sure they’d become one in no time, seeing how fast paced and intense their kiss was, but of course, he got a bit surprised when kihyun backed away, groaning loudly at that and chasing his lips, but he ended up opening his eyes wide when he decided to let him finish editing his video, after all. mingyu had no reaction while he heard kihyun’s words, standing frozen at the same spot, and he only realized what was going on when kihyun was already out of the room, closing his eyes tightly. “fuck you!” he yelled at the boy out of frustration, knowing he’d hear them because of the half opened door, and sighed heavily, sitting back down on his chair and grabbing his headphones, preparing himself so he could edit the video properly even with a growing hard-on.

couldn't contain a laugh with himself when he heard the younger, shaking his head and entering (now) his room. the first thing he did was close the door behind him and breathe deeply, trying to regain his calm, but the digits sought his itchy mouth, as if it was missing something it hadn't felt for so long when it was only seconds ago. the way mingyu could make him feel was stunning but at the same time scarier. [...] when he came back from his bath, kihyun left the door open behind him, trying his best to dry his wet hair with the towel, had hoped that mingyu would be there already when he returned, but the room was empty while he could still hear noises coming from the room in front of his. sighed softly to the empty, letting himself drift into thoughts then ----- or rather, wander in thoughts involving the boy a few feet from him.

mingyu wasn’t gonna lie; he loved kissing kihyun. he felt as if he was on the top of the world and could do anything and everything. feeling him pulling his body closer was even better, because it showed him that mingyu wasn’t the only one having those kinds of feelings. so he did what he could do best at the moment; put all his will into kissing the older male, groaning against his lips at the tugging in his hair that he absolutely loved.

kihyun knew he wouldn't settle for just their lips working against each other, he wanted more. so much more. he really wanted to be able to really feel mingyu and all that cliché of lovers. he wanted nothing more than to hear the most divine sounds loosening from those lips that had been shaped by angels. so he pulled back, staring at him as if that were enough to translate his thoughts. "go finish your video," he was pecking his lips one last time. see the other destroyed that way, redder and wet lips being that he who had given to the younger was just too much. "and come see me the moment you finish your work," he slid his hands into mingyu's hands just to drag them out of his own body, creating enough will to leave the room, still panting.

mingyu could scream out of happiness when he noticed kihyun coming closer, closing his eyes just in time to feel his kiss, which he tried to return in the best way he could. his insides were fluttering like crazy and his legs felt like jelly, and his words only amplified those feelings. he couldn’t help but smile brightly when he heard what kihyun was saying, not even bothering to answer him when his hands went back to his waist, pulling him into his own body and capturing his lips in a real kiss this time, trying to pass through that simple action how happy and grateful he was for having the other there with him, hopefully for a long, long time.

kihyun just allowed the younger male to kiss him again, kissing him back there hungrily. if he was being honest, had waited for that moment for happen a way ago, since they parted ways back to california. the only thing the oldr always thought of was mingyu, mingyu and mingyu. as if it was a mantra and he doesn’t think he could get ride from the other so soon like that. it was as if he had stuck in his soul, as if he had opened a hole there that only he could fill and was definitely not kihyun that would complain about it. he tugged at the other’s dark hair, pulling him even closer to himself in a desirous way.

mingyu was fidgeting while standing in front of kihyun like that, listening to him say things that seemed almost obvious in his head, but yes, he didn’t know if he was ready for all of that. “i know that. i’m… actually really nervous about it, seeing as it’s a big step, but…” he hesitated on his next words, avoiding looking at him directly for a moment before he let out a heavy breath, staring at kihyun with his eyebrows slightly raised. “i… this is stupid, but… i feel like i can endure it. that is, if i have you by my side”, he regretted it as soon as the words left his lips, thinking that he had gone too far, but he bit his bottom lip, hoping for the best.

he wasn't expecting the words of the younger, but he wasn't imagining any of it either. he thought they would have a long journey before mingyu realized what he was doing with his own life, that he would have some difficulty in making him understand what was best for him ----- at least, less complicated. but he was definitely not expecting him to go so smooth for that. didn't mean that the boy was having an easy time, however. he looked like someone who was almost shrinking and hiding in his own body. so kihyun approached him again, cupping his face as he brought him closer by pressing his lips against his in a chaste kiss, but that said a lot. "i'll be by your side until you want me to," he murmured against his lips, pressing their foreheads together for a brief moment. "you won't ever be alone, mingyu-yah. never. i'll always be by your side, baby."

he understood what kihyun was saying, really. and maybe he had been influenced by kihyun in the process of deciding such a thing, but, well… what could he do, really? his words had made sense only after he decided kihyun was capable of bringing that much happiness into mingyu’s life. before he could say anything, he was already not that close to him anymore and mingyu could only stare at the older male, shaking his head a little bit when he came back to his senses. “i’m not… saying this because i’m feeling guilty. i’m saying this because your words made me realize how stupid i actually was.”

yes, it was stupid. kihyun swallowed his words because, again, he had no right to give his opinion about the young male's life like that. sighed softly to himself, staring at him as both hands rested on the table, trying to study the situation that wouldn't leave him as if he were choosing one side there ----- or rather, making the other choose one side to himself. "i don't want you to feel pressured," he breathed out briefly. "if you break up with mina now, and bring it to the public people will know that i am here sooner or later, and they will comment on it... i do not want you feeling bad about..." he actually didn't know how to name it; they. they were one thing, right? but could that really interfere with anything? so he ended up just gesticulating between them, letting the action speak for itself.

mingyu couldn’t even breathe properly once kihyun broke the kiss, because soon enough he was kissing all over his neck and clavicle region and mingyu absolutely loved the feeling of that. he ended up groaning a bit once he realized kihyun was working on probably some hickeys on his neck, and the thought of that got him going, but he also was a little bit worried about the possible outcomes of that, even though he didn’t want to make it obvious. before he could do anything, kihyun was backing away and mingyu had a hard time focusing on his words, frowning a bit when he realized what he was saying, quieting down for a moment as he thought back on kihyun’s words back in the kitchen earlier that day. “i… um, well… i guess so?” he sounded a little bit confused, nibbling on his bottom lip nervously as he thought about it. “i think… it doesn’t make any sense for me to try to pretend to be someone i’m not anymore. not when it makes me so happy.”

kihyun didn't believe that the situation that the other was at the time was a healthy thing, not for him or for the people who accompanied his work (even though he believes that no one outside mingyu's personal life has any kind of opinion to give about that, really), but he still wanted the other to make his own choices, whether they were wrong or not. "i don't want you doing it because everything i said earlier, because you're feeling guilty. i want you doing it for you," he jumps from the table next, both arms on the side of his body as he stares intensely at mingyu, as if tempting to find out what every little trace of his face can tell him. isn't such an easy task after all. "it's okay to be afraid, mingyu-yah. this is really difficult, i can't lie to you. but once you are... once you are yourself, everything gets easier."
