Why does anyone even bother asking him to comment at all, did we need further confirmation that he is Putin’s Puppy? 

Try to imagine if the greatest hack of our intelligence ever happened under an Obama or Biden administration what the right wing media would be saying right now. Without them even defending Russia as Trump has they would be called traitors just for allowing it to happen on their watch but since it’s Putin’s puppet they are silent.

Republican defends Trump's talk of a military coup: 'It was a conversation -- not a revolution'

President Donald Trump's consideration of deploying the military to overturn the results of the presidential election was downplayed on CNN on Saturday by a Republican congressman arguing it wasn't a problem because it hasn't happened yet.

The idea of deploying “military capabilities” to force do-over elections was raised by former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.

“During an appearance on the conservative Newsmax channel this week, Mr. Flynn pushed for Mr. Trump to impose martial law and deploy the military to ‘rerun’ the election. At one point in the meeting on Friday, Mr. Trump asked about that idea,” The New York Times reported Saturday. “The White House counsel, Pat A. Cipollone, and the White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, repeatedly and aggressively pushed back on the ideas being proposed, which went beyond the special counsel idea, those briefed on the meeting said. Mr. Cipollone told Mr. Trump there was no constitutional authority for what was being discussed, one of the people briefed on the meeting said.”

So what the self proclaimed “SUPER GENIUS OF ALL TIME” is admitting is that he made one of the dumbest people in Washington his national security adviser.

Kind of like when he appointed Rex Tillerson Secretary of State and then later called him dumb as a rock.

Trump also fired his first national  security adviser little Mikey Flynn after only 22 days for lying,  but now says he was treated very unfairly.

No question about it, Don “The Con” Trump is the “SUPER GENIUS OF ALL TIME.”

Re: hive mind striking again- tbh the most fun thing about good foreshadowing imo is being able to figure out what the twist is, but not *how* it happens, and then watching all the threads tie together as the story unfolds. Journey before destination, in the words of Brandon Sanderson :)

I would definitely agree with that sentiment. It’s also really fun to be able to guess the twist?? You feel so vindicated, and it just increases enthusiasm for a thing if it’s done well. The whole “shocking twist out of nowhere” trend in media is not one I enjoy, tbh.
