A day out in the Yorkshire Moors was well spent photographing this lovely example of Swedish motor engineering.  Set against the dramatic misty hills, and driving through the endless fords and gravel tracks you could almost be mistaken in believing we were in Scandinavia.

These images were created in partnership with A ROAD Magazine for a photo-essay/article on the Volvo 127 & it’s owner.

We were recently commissioned to create imagery for ‘The Cheesecake Guy’, an American baker now living and working from York, UK.

This was easily the tastiest shoot we’ve ever had the pleasure to work on. Maple-syrup and bacon on a classic New York style baked cheesecake could only be more American if it also sang the Star Spangled Banner.

'MINI'

‘MINI’

‘MINI’ explores the nuances of owning a classic car and how the vehicles purpose in today’s ownership is to be a tool for escapism through motoring. The engine may be small, and it may not be the most comfortable of rides, but the rich smells and rattling noises can’t help but make you smile and enjoy the journey from A to B.

We were commissioned by Ben, the man behind The Anvil Workshop, to create images of his hand crafted furniture. With a key focus on the natural materials of wood and hide, the the patina and marks are incorporated to create products which are truly unique and natural.

Therefore, it seemed fitting to forego the usual studio setting and to photograph the furniture with more context.  Using both Ben’s stone barn workshop and the surrounding area of the Yorkshire Dales, these products stand out from their backdrops, yet are indelibly linked to it.

AEONSS18 is the new look-book for Sassoon stylist Nathaniel Oakey.  The range of styles embrace the current trends within the fashion industry, taking inspiration from the likes of Eudon Choi and Gucci.  As structured, oversized formal wear takes centre stage on the catwalk, the hair styles created here reflect this by using sharp, multi layered and textured finishes.

The great seaside resort may not be exactly be what it once used to be, but with a little sunshine and the gorgeous couple that is Madison and Patrick the place seemed to brighten up.

With a few goes on the arcades and some great looks thanks to tmp styling the shoot produced some lovely images of a lovely couple.

Cars and photography seem to be something that, for myself, mesh rather well together.  So to have my words and images featured in the MG Enthusiast as both the cover and feature has been a privilege.

We had Sam take the pictures for both our wedding day celebrations and our post-honeymoon party. We were delighted with the final pictures from both events and would unreservedly recommend Sam. Along with the more traditional wedding pictures Sam showed a real creative and personal style that captured the essence of both days providing us with unforgettable memories.

Mr and Mrs Davis 9/9/17 The Westfield Granary, Sherburn (My favourite wedding).

10 years, 6 houses, 1 son, 1 dog and lots of laughs we finally got married!

We had a very personal humanist ceremony followed by reception and party at Westfield Granary in Sherburn. It was touch and go with the weather but it stopped just in time for the ceremony and turned into a gorgeous day.

Thank you so much to everyone who helped Charlie & I plan the do, set up & clear down & attend the day! It’s been a fab weekend spent with great family & friends and we love you all lots!
