How to Cover Dark Circles
Concealing dark circles can be a challenge. No matter who you are you’ve probably got a little bit (or a lot) of darkness underneath your eyes, regardless of how much sleep you’ve had! Whilst you aren’t likely to achieve completely perfect, undetectable dark circles underneath your eyes without the help of photoshop or an entire tube of concealer, there is one tip in particular that can help make the world of difference..
When people ask me what my favourite makeup tip of all time is, I respond with this: mix orange lipstick into your concealer. It’s basically foolproof and something anyone and everyone can utilize and master.
Step 1. Apply a small amount of concealer that matches your skintone (or is slightly lighter) onto the back of your hand.
Step 2. Alongside the concealer apply a swipe of creamy orange lipstick (bonus points for one that has a small amount of shimmer which will help reflect light)
Step 3. Using your finger mix the two shades together until it becomes a creamy peachy shade.
Step 4. Start by patting the concealer underneath your eyes and slowly building up the coverage.
Step 5. If desired, go in with an “airbrush” style buffing brush and gently blend and buff the concealer into the skin, add more product as desired.
Finished result.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol 3 Swatches & Review
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol 3, Wearing shades: Tiki, Escape and Treasure
I love shimmer, glow, gloss and everything that sparkles, except when it comes to eyeshadows. I’ve always been someone who prefers matte shadows over shimmer and metallic, the fallout and the horrible task of removing makeup and still finding little bits of shimmer all over your face two days later are deal-breakers for me. However, I’ve got to say this Tarte palette is a real treasure. Tarte never seems to disappoint me with their eyeshadows and this palette is no exception. Designed as a “highlighting eyeshadow palette” this palette contains 8 shades, all of which, but one are shimmer based and in addition to being used as an eyeshadow, these also work great as highlighters on the rest of the face. Each shade is inspired by beautiful beaches, sand and seashells and each one performs consistently well.
