I’ve rewatched The Last movie tons of times because of the beautiful animation, but some things still make ZERO sense to me.

Like Hamura’s chakra!

Hinata is strong, but I see people saying that she got this crazy power boost in TL cuz Hamura gave Hinata his chakra… and it’s like… where is the scene where this happens? It doesn’t exist in either the movie or novel. Even the people writing the Naruto wiki state that…

Where is this scene where he transfers his power to her? Hamura didn’t need to give Hinata any power cuz Toneri explains that every Hyuga has Hamura’s blood, and when Hinata stands in front of the Tenseigan she says to Naruto that only someone with Hamura’s blood can touch it otherwise their chakra would be drained. Hinata doesn’t have the power to destroy it though, so Naruto suggests she share her chakra so he can touch it.

But… she JUST said that only someone with Hamura’s blood can touch it. How does sharing chakra share blood?

What it sounds like is that Hamura’s chakra and Hamura’s blood are suppose to be the same thing, so this means that every Hyuga has Hamura’s chakra? Sounds like it. Hinata does seem to have Hamura’s chakra, but it seems like this is something that she, along with every other Hyuga, have always had.

ANYWAYS even though some parts of the movie make little sense, I still adore the animation and Hinata’s design is one of my favourites ever. She looks stunning, especially in her black wedding dress. Naruto (with his headband), Sakura and Ino’s design are also my favourites. Maybe I’ll do another rewatch and write down ALL my thoughts… maybe

From what I’ve noticed design wise in the manga

(I think it’s interesting kishimoto makes that discrepancy, he even gives them different types of double eyelids 😭😭)

Omg finally a chance to share my useless Naruto eyelid knowledge

Okay so it seems the majority of the Naruto cast, like the vasttttt majority, seem to have these sort of parallel eyelids where there’s one line above the eye that’s doesn’t touch it.

Sasuke is an example of this and most characters like Rin, Deidara, Obito, Madara, Yamato, Sai, Suigetsu, etc etc have these

The second is the monolids(?) The one where there’s usually not a line drawn above the eye, and Naruto, Neji, Kakuzu, Jiraiya, etc etc show this

Next is the tapered(?) eyelid which is where the line starts at the inner corner and goes out

The only two characters with these eyelids seem to be Sakura and Minato (more noticeable on Sakura)

And finally the multiple creased eyelids with two lines which only Hinata and Sasori have I believe

I’m just rambling rn but I feel like people focus too much on the explosion aspect of deidara’s art and often overlook the actual clay sculptures themselves!

His clay sculptures were clearly heavily influenced by Taro Okamoto’s works (the artist Deidara was based off of) , which in turn derived inspiration from Jomon pottery. It’s important to note that Taro Okamoto made groundbreaking work in introducing the beauty of Jomon into the field of art. Beforehand, it was only considered for archaeological purposes.

He had great admiration for the “unrestraint, vigor, dissonance, dynamism, asymmetry,” of jomon pottery and claimed that its boisterous, discordant form depicted the the veneration of nature, an awe of nature. It was a perfect representation of the spirit of the Jomon people who lived in harmony with nature! He deemed their aesthetics, which directly opposed the subdued refinement of traditional art, as the “original Japan” or “lost Japan.”

In addition to Jomon art being a rediscovery of Japan, Okamoto considered it as a discovery of himself. He implemented it as the foundation for his view of own life and art.

Samui and Karui minor redesigns for fun. I don’t dislike their original outfits so i tried to keep the spirit of them while adding a few things✨

For Samui, I really just wanted to give her a more even hair cut and some support for her chest that wouldn’t kill her shoulders + a pair of shorts. I also went ahead and changed her mesh around and gave her a glove.

For Kauri, I wanted her outfit to tie in with Omoi’s style a bit more, so I gave her a long sleeve dress to go under her shirt. The two locs added to her hair I HC are from her family members (carrying their love with her and all) and gave her a more decorative bandana.

Can we just talk about Kushina and Sakura saying ‘fuck my allies’ and incapacitating them, like they really were twinning and just did what they want

It’s criminal the amount of times I see the ‘Sakura bullied Naruto’ narrative. They have an amazing bond and dynamic, they both care about each other so much, she cares for him, worries for him, cries for him, and supports him, and anyone that genuinely believes Sakura ‘bullied’ Naruto is an idiot.
