Here’s some afternoon bird visitors

It is getting very warm here and still dry. Many birds are visiting today.

Two more here ☝️but I’m not sure of their names.

This one ☝️looks like mom robin on the right. The one on the left looks too big to be a sparrow. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Three at once.☝️ I skipped cutting the grass today. I just didn’t feel that well today. It looks like it needs to be a bit longer until just before it is going to rain.

I do like watching my bird visitors. 😀

We moved into a new apartment complex and she was already here.

First day she showed up like part of the lease. Not my cat she just lives here. Everyone feeds her, she makes her rounds, and hangs out wherever she feels like.

I call her Queen Bee.

I started taking photos of her and turned them into a pointillism-style series — same everyday moments, just rebuilt with texture and detail.

Pointillist Cat Study Series I–V

A continuous study of a single cat observed across shifting states of rest, awareness, and motion.

This five-part series follows the same subject throughout different moments in time - sunlight, stillness, stretch, wakefulness, and dream captured through dense pointillist technique. Rather than changing subjects the focus remains on one cat.allowing subtle variations in posture, expression, and light to define each piece.

Together the series reads like a visual timeline of one life in pause where movement is minimal but presence is constant.

On the way out to my mailbox I started seeing some colors popping out on my crabapple tree

This thing looks happy and healthy this year. Too bad the apples are only as big as ball bearings. 😂

Back in February I trimmed a lower branch off that was kind of getting in the way as I was mowing grass. That Is the time to do trimming. So far things look okay. 👍

In Copenhagen you can visit The Round Tower. It used to be an astronomical observatory until light pollution and the vibrations from increased traffic in the streets made it useless for its original purpose.

Today it’s mostly famous for what it looks like on the inside.

It has an equestrian staircase though it’s so smooth it’s really just a gentle slope more than a staircase. It was build like that so our lazy bum king could ride his horse all the way to the top (king not in photo)

And naturally people have also driven cars up the tower

And held a bike race

For a while it was just sort of abandoned by the authorities and became a sloping marketplace

But today it has been restored and become a tourist spot as well as a popular destination for school trips. And yes, you can still watch the cosmos at the top.

This morning has been a nice display of Mother Nature’s ability to show off some cloud making skills. This first one is a westward look 👇

I liked the highlighting effects of the rising sun.

The next one was looking east just after sunrise. There is a pleasant day coming today.

Almost nothing seems right in my dashboard tumblr feed this morning. Is anyone else seeing this? It started out with several of my old posts and almost nothing new. 😵‍💫

I will have more time for garden cleaning today and I can’t wait to get out there. We got some rain coming but not until supper time.
