you and zanka usually sleep in the same room, his room. so you did find it a little strange that tonight he asked you to sleep in your own room. you agree, and chalk it up to him not getting good sleep lately from you clinging to him at night.

because he most definitely wasn’t asleep judging by the noises you could hear.

in the middle of the night, you wanted a glass of water. but to get to the kitchen, you have to pass his room. and an innocent peek won’t hurt, right?

messy blonde strands fell over his eyes, and sweat glistened on his forehead. quiet, strained pants fell from his lips as he rutted into a pillow. you press your legs together, gripping the doorway, not realizing how long you’d been staring for.

but the moment he let out a choked-out groan? you gasped, and his head snapped up. fuck.

he felt his face grow hot and he just kinda stared at you, jaw slack. you stared back. and the first thing you think to say?

zanka swallowed dryly, and nodded once. and two minutes later? door shut and locked, both of your shirts discarded somewhere on the floor.
