This is a au in my head where all my favorite "modern" style ocs all co-exist in one big thing [non worrying about official canon]
Zalgo, Slender & Rake are canon cuz
Slender: Heavily rewritten to be like a weird force of nature & embodiement of the circle of life [non villian] so is kinda more of a character based character
Zalgo: Heavily rewritten to the point of oc
Rake: is literally a little grey alien in this canon
But zalgo & Slender don't obey the laws & rules of "stay in a single universe" in my head
• Happy appy was originally a really bad and low budget puppet show on a really obscure and lesser known tv program
•Happy appy [the main character] was ofc a annoying almost messiah like Apple who went around healing kids whenever they were hurt from playing or other bullies. It was also educational teaching kids basic math, english and so on
•the show was directed by Freddrick Gorgote a "Renowed" Director and kid shows producer, Having lesser known shows such as "Dingle The Orange" and "Miller The dog"
•Due to alot of bad reviews on the show especially from religious families who thought that happy appy was blasphemous and "violent" [which it was, there were some pretty intense scenes once or twice for no reason] Not to mention it generally unsettled Kids, Happy appy sounded really horrible and almost aggressive. And the Original clay puppet they donned scared kids [which was replaced in fifth episode]
•The episode that got the most amount of backlash was "Here Comes The Bogeyman!" Which featured a man wearing a generally unsettling bogeyman costume. The Mask was fucking horrific especially in certain lighting, And The bogeyman was very violent. In the show it literally features the bogeyman scaring the viewers by jumping at the screen and the bogeyman literally kills a character in the show
•When the show was taken down Freddrick had the worst mental breakdown you would ever imagine, Especially since he believes he was making a masterpiece nobody got. He took this show stupidly serious to the point it got unhealthy and Freddrick was generally hostile to other staff
•It was no real surprise that Freddrick broke down in such a way, He was pretty violent and had no problem depicting very disturbing imagery in his shows. which is why alot of them are cancelled
•But Freddrick either out of extreme entitlement or a psychotic breakdown, Kidnapped multiple co-producers and staff of the Tv program. Before forcing them to Make "season 2" of happy appy. Each episode getting worse by the second and the tension in the room worsening. Until Freddrick literally kills Three people on camera.
•But towards the end of the shooting police come in and attempt to confront Freddrick only for him to escape
•But this vendetta is far from over, As Fredrrick Stalks and harasses people who worked in the Studio and other staff who helped make Happy Appy generally believing he's been wronged.

Design stuff:
1. The puppets featured on the show sucked and were store brought, Freddrick also faced alittle bit of legal trouble because of the puppets were featured. Half way through the first season he replaced the puppets with crudely drawning characters on paddle sticks
2. The Mask Freddrick uses as Forenzik is a black stocking mask, Making his face semi visible along with his crooked smile
3. Happy appy originally had a really ugly "puppet" made from polymer clay which got alot of uproar for being geniunely unsettling, Which is why Freddrick "Commissioned" a new puppet which was made of felt fabric [he underpaid the artist btw]
•Not a serial killer and is far from a slenderman proxy or any of that
•Story centers around manipulation [whether it be truth or of love] or Grief / mourning
•Slenderman represents temptation: The temptation of violence and with every frame where Toby has his darker moments he inches closer and closer
•Toby tries and tries to resist this bloodlust which is eating away at him, This internal brewing hate for his father who is turning the town against him
•in this canon his father is alive, And the part of the story were Toby would normally kill him in the original played out very differently
•In this canon Toby did not try to kill Frank but he was taking things too far, Because Frank is a sniffling coward he plays the victim card. Eventually turning an entire community Against Toby as alot of misinformation spreads around him
•Toby is still mourning Lyra [who is the younger sibling in this canon] especially because he pins her death upon himself since he wasn't paying attention when driving causing the car crash that kills her
•For most of the story it centers around Connie trying to bring to light Frank's abuse, While she herself tries to see past the man she once loved [who is activately lying to her and trying to earn her trust] and do the right thing
•Meanwhile Toby skips town to town and is trying to blend in [which is easier since in this canon he doesn't have a horrible gash]
•Toby is struggling with his own grief and these foreign thoughts of intense violence which he has rarely ever experience until now as Slender tried to influence this very sensitive & spiritually vulernable era for Toby
•Alot of people ralley around Frank is because for a very long time He was a big pillar in the community and is naturally framed as like "a saint" and whatever bad thing about him comes to light they disregard it and downplay it, Because alot of these people ralley around him are friends of his and his sister and brother's friends. Who are extremely biased towards him and probably don't favour his own son because of how much he complains about him
•alot of the people who confront Toby are the following: Proxies [But are literal cultist, Because they are connected to slender they know slender is trying to use Toby as a host. So they're doing all they can to try and brainwash him or make him a vessel], Frank's Ralley who chase after Toby with guns as if he's fucking michael myers and they're the hero citizens of the town, Police and slender himself
•Gets "possessed" by slender multiple times throughout the story as he tries to resist him
design notes:
•Originally wears converses but they get destroyed by the constant walking and mud so dons thick hicking boots
•Thick winter gloves because it's horribly cold around the time the story takes place
•Bandana he made from a t-shirt and with bleached stripes resembling teeth, Kinda to conceal his identity when walking in the woods
•knitted turtleneck in reference to his sweater design in his canon age chart
•Alittle unkept with slight acne
•Brown eyes and small moles scattered around his face
