University Wellness Program (RAEEGGG)

The wellness program decreased the amount of credit running/walking miles offers from one credit per mile to two! Holy butt. For a little background, it's one point for each half hour doing cardio, one point per half hour of weights, one point per half hour of swimming laps, and the above.  I can understand the change, but I felt like I was getting so much more done racking up those points xD

At least it's incentive to get in even better shape! I don't care if you're a scrawny fuck like me trying to gain some mass, or if you're overweight and trying to make a healthier lifestyle choice, or if you just want to work out for the sake of it.  Increasing endurance, muscle mass, etc. is not only fun, but rewarding, plus you get to catch up on your reading/shows. Give it a shot. I never thought I'd enjoy it, but now every season of Doctor Who, four rewatches of The League, and ten more pounds all get to say otherwise.

I get to celebrate Hanukkah this year!

My dormmates have said they would love to celebrate Hanukkah with me this year, I'm so excited! My school is religiously affiliated with a Christian denomination, but their acceptance of my heritage to the point of taking part in it is really heartwarming. I love it here.
