Field Log — Krill Tracking Test

Golden Wasteland, Graveyard

Researchers Present :: Assistant [Buttons], Cameraman [Saber]

Objective ::

To document and analyze the consistency of Krill tracking behavior under standard observation conditions.

Procedure ::

• Cameraman positioned at medium distance for visual recording.

Observations ::

• Krill initiated tracking sequence as expected.

• Tracking persisted for approximately 7 seconds before deviation.

• At ~7 second mark, the Krill executed an unexpected 180° turn.

• Krill then charged directly toward the cameraman instead of continuing original pursuit.

Outcome ::

• Cameraman’s light was extinguished on impact.

• Winged Light was forcibly knocked free, resulting in immediate recovery measures.

• Test did not yield desired data on sustained tracking patterns.

Notes ::

• Unclear if the deviation was random or triggered by environmental factor (e.g., cameraman prediction).

• Recommend assigning a Lightguard or defensive partner for future trials.

My online friend and his cousin who wanted me to play sky with them were the ones who helped me with learning everything

I only fully help moths rarely because most of the time I’m in too much of a rush to stop and help, and when I try they don’t really go with me 💔

When I was moth this vet heard me loosing my winged lights in hidden forest (It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out the mechanics) and took me on their candle run routine

A few days later I met them again and they gifted me a season pass. I didn’t even have the bow emote back then TTwTT
