hey Skydow? Are you around at the moment? Tumblr makes it a lil hard to keep track of latest posts and such so i wanted to ask ^^

I don't get on much anymore and its been a long time since I posted anything. Whats up?

I've been in an art slump this last year since my great grandma's passing so I'm redrawing some of my old art to see if that helps. Here is Rae the Glass Hedgehog. The difference 10 years can make.

So I did a Sketch dump its a very small portion of art i did from the year 2018 to 2020. I put my older art at the top and worked my way down 1. This was my first drawing of my character Serenity, Her and my character Jade where actually from a dream I had one night. This was one of the things I remember in the dream (don't worry she's rescued). 2. a sketch I did that I wanted to turn into a painting. the sketch is better trust me. It was kind of a red riding hood and the wolf thing? 3. So I actually had a friend help me with this one in the fact me and her posed together so I could figure out how to get the arms right. I don't remember if we took a picture or not but I don't have it if we did. 4. Me and my friend shared a sonic oc and I wanted to turn him human. His name is Nigal. 5. Serenity in her wedding dress. Simple but nice. 6. I was on a Steven Universe binge. Its not a Gemsona but it is a fusion of my characters Serenity and Jade. I think her name was like Melody? 7. Mark my friends character, Clara and Helen my characters. 8. Clara's Sister Carol and the Town Tailor, Taylor. 9. I like the expression on him his name is Bill. 10. Also Bill I hadn't drawing smoking before and wanted to try it. (Guest art by my friend LiaLumay from deviant art Go check her out she’s incredible) 11, 12, 13. The Deity Nihilumbra, and a witch named Kenna Beck having an unhappy conversation.

14. A "New" character ive been working on for the past 4 years-ish. I'm thinking about the name Rien Burma/Burman and a friends character Mel. 15. Rien again with one of Nihilumbra's original designs. 16. Nihilumbra, I was playing with expressions one day. 17. Umbra scolding Rien 18. Second part of that conversation. 19. And a modern version of Jade with my villain Thomas. I might do another one of these later with more art I've done recently, but I do a lot of small comics so I'm not sure if I should post those separate and not in a sketch dump (If I post them at all.) And I have a lot of fanart that I'm kind of nervous to share cause I doubt anyone wants to see my Oc's. But the ones I'm probably most nervous to show are this couple I draw the most I don't own them (Technically no one does?). I love their expressions and I do a ton of tiny comics with them but I liked them a lot when I was a kid to the point I got bullied over it and so my anxiety makes it near impossible to share. Maybe on a day I'm feeling particularly brave (Or too tired to be anxious.)

No mater what I do her lips flash purple at the end of the cycle and something weird happens with her eye, even though none of her frames have the lips as that color or are transparent. Firealpaca why do you hate me?

I decided to put some of my oc’s in a modern setting and attempted a background? Its not the best but I like how they turned out. could decide who I wanted to be the tan one and the one with dark circles looks a lot different than what I usually draw him. I’ve added what the two brothers usually look like for comparison. and my hands are getting better!

Surprised. I’m both proud and a little disappointed with how this turned out, I can’t for the life of me figure out what exactly is wrong or how to fix it. But practice is practice.

I made a small comic and this was my favorite face i drew of the whole thing. The whole thing was honestly just an angst fest that wouldn’t leave my mind but this face was. it was everything I wanted him to convey for the moment.

And then the second face was from a separate picture and he looks so sweet! Those eyes!

I was practicing with my markers on some of my drawings I really liked how it turned out. wish I had a lighter yellow though.

Recently I bought a pack of 45 markers. This is my first ever drawing that I outlined and colored with markers and I didn’t have a good skin color so they’re just white. So....I really like this Disney segment from Melody time centered around Pecos Bill. I have since I was in kindergarten, the thing is I got bullied relentlessly for it. I was going through a very traumatic time in my life and I latched onto these characters as a way to cope and my classmates didn’t understand why I liked them so much. It got bad enough that I stopped talking about things that interested me until I moved and changed schools and even then I wouldn’t really open up about things I liked until I completely trusted someone (With the exception of a friend I met in middle school who I saw was like me and we hit it off immediately) The thing is I still love these characters, I like making stories about them and drawing them but I don’t share this art with anyone because it scares me what people will say I’m afraid of being bullied all over it again. I’m an adult woman it shouldn’t be this bad but its so terrifying. But I don’t want my emotions of when I was 6 to 12 years old effecting my life now. So I’m posting this one piece of art on Tumblr. if it gets...say 20 likes I’ll post another maybe two that I really like. Or if my friend asks really nicely cause I’d do anything for her.

How would the Ut and Uf bro's react to meeting their monster soulmate and their Soulmates reaction is to run away and avoid them. The bro's cant figure out why until they corner them and find out that their soul is horribly damaged for some reason or another and the soulmate is only avoiding them cause they didn't want to get attached, cause they felt 1. they didn't deserve them 2. one wrong move and they could dust, they figure it's better to stay unattached to anyone unless they can fix it.

So, listen. He’ll get you somewhere safe. Maybe once you’re there you can…”talk” about stuff. Lord knows his skull is ready to burst from everything bouncing around in there. Guess this is what folks mean when they call him a real “numbskull,” eh?

So when he corners you, caging you in blue bones that still your movements, the first glimpse he gets of your soul is almost the last. Good thing you’re really good at standing still, though.

I haven’t been on Tumblr in forever so i only recently found out this was answered and I love it to pieces Thank you guys!

So my friend says she’s interested in the idea of my dress up game. This would be the base body for the game. What you stick all the clothes on. I posted a picture of different outfits I’ve designed for her over the years but I’d like a few more. and I need a lot more hair styles. So if anyone has any suggestions for Hair, shoes, skirts, shirts, dresses, anything please let me know. I’m mostly lacking in the shoe and hair style department.

This is going to be a fun character to play around with. He’s not...entirely human. This is the most recent animation I’ve played with and the second time I’ve fiddled with trying...I wouldn’t say lip sync? cause there's no audio? but I tried to make it look like he was actually saying the words ya know?

So this...has no name. I can’t even decide if I want them male or Female is indicated by the slight chest in the gif and the flatter chest in the picture. I haven’t figured out toes I’m barely figuring out hands. and I fiddled with colored lines it was fun. I kind of wish I had made the top come up to the neck on the colored picture like it kind of shows in the gif. I can’t remember if I drew the picture and colored it before I started making the sketch a gif or after. I’m up for name suggestions and Gender identification.
