Call Center
WA
(I work in a call center, since we’re not telemarketers, the National Do Not Call list doesn’t apply to us. Instead, we have our own internal list but we require the person asking to be placed on the list listen to a quick policy that takes of 5 seconds to read, however most…
I’d be mad too. He said “don’t call me again”. He shouldn’t HAVE to listen to anything after that except, “OK bye”.
It's not her fault, blame the policy. Seriously, she could end up losing her job for not following proper procedure. My sister had worked at a call center and she had to ask very stupid questions, (Ex: Customer: I lost my Cellphone. Sister: So you cannot call from the phone? Only after she ask this question and the customer verifies then she could do stuff) Yes, he shouldn't have to, but it's not the worker's fault but the companies. It's like complaining about store policy to the cashier....they can't change store policy.
