Haruki dismisses it as a joke. But the next day, one of his tormentors disappears. Then another. One thing's for sure—Shirayuki is a psychopath that lacks common sense and empathy.

Oh no it's one of my weaknesses! A brawny, brute-force yandere in a real horror setting! No need to hold back here! Everyone sucks, so we can just enjoy the bloody show! I do feel bad for the protagonist though. He's just a victim surrounded by psychos.
Haruki is a classic bullied kid.
A nice guy who knows he can't fight back.
His bullies are serious. No emotional manipulation. No beating around the bush. Just pain. The story begins with a "waterboarding game".
Yup.
These kids are testing army torture methods out on their victim.
They do it wrong so they just punch him instead. The worst part is all three bullies are clearly enjoying the process. They aren't doing this because of some misunderstanding.
Being sadistic makes them feel good.
A mysterious boy appears!
He says their torture methods are "wrong".
They aren't inflicting the maximum amount of pain.
He's a small guy, but he asserts his dominance immediately.
He accidentally saves Haruki as well.
The difference in "skill" and the lack of emotion the sadistic boy shows is a HUGE red flag.
Haruki is a victim with a savior complex. He knows the bullies are dangerous and he doesn’t want his innocent classmates to suffer.
He hates his life, but he's able to endure it because of this virtuous delusion.
Shirayuki the Psycho thinks that's cute.
He officially introduces himself, and his intentions are clear.
He's not interested in waterboarding like the bullies, but he does want to play with Haruki.
Shirayuki is some form of sociopath, but the story has only just begun. We don't know if his crush is real or not, but Shirayuki smiles brightly when he stands up for Haruki.
He wants to date Haruki.
Haruki is immediately proven correct.
When Shirayuki stands up for him a second time the head bully pulls a knife.
Shirayuki doesn't even flinch.
The sudden strength reveal is crazy, and it also implies that Shirayuki is going to get rid of the bullies through physically torturous means.
Shirayuki is strong enough to:
- Carry his crush.
- Jump out of a second story building unharmed.
- Fend off a larger foe with a knife.
In other words he's a OP yandere and the bullies are just kids who aren't prepared to face a real challenger.
This will not be a sweet romance.
Haruki accidentally tells Shirayuki he can't date ANYONE as long as he's being bullied. He could NEVER let his lover suffer and be bullied with him.
The solution is obvious for a psycho like Shirayuki.
When you think that "Wow Lee Sayoung's really obsessed with Cha Euijae", but then his man pulls up with the "Yes he is suffering from massive ptsd and was having a panic attack after waking up from his coma and having his body hijacked by another version of him but HE relied on ME AND ME ALONE HEHE!" while giggling and blushing.
That's when you realise the obsession goes both ways, the freak is matched too perfectly with these two.
Cha Euijae deciding he's just gonna make a run for it and freaking bolting it out of there as far away from Lee Sayoung as he can, because he just experienced the most massive gay panic in his entire life and did not know how to deal with his newly awakened homosexual feelings, is the funniest and realest thing this man has ever done so far in the entire story 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The manhwa chapters feel so therapeutic now while reading part 2. No rollercoster of emotions and whiplash thrice every chapter. Just good and chill vibes here guys. I missed this🥹🤧
