08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it? Skylana’s biggest flaw has always been a tough one for her. The Argent Crusade. It was her biggest strength and after the events of Legion, she resigned from them. She was quite used to having an Order to depend on and follow. Now that she is on her own, her goals will be tough to accomplish. (Yes, she’s quite aware as well.)

21. What is one of your character’s biggest fears? How would they react when dealing with this fear? Skylana’s biggest fear? Ghosts. Lets be honest here. We all are aware of Azeroth and her mysteries. Seeing ghosts of the ones that died or someone that she has failed to save? SPOOKY! She would be in shock and in a very jittery panic when seeing one unless the ghost calms her.

39. When people look at your character, is there some assumption they might make about them just by appearance? Is that assumption correct?Not quite sure how to answer this one! Skylana, the lady in red is usually armored and ready for battle wherever she goes. They may look at her like a normal Paladin who fights and judges their enemies. Skylana is more of a healer than a fighter. Her combat skills are less than average, but don’t underestimate her grip of the Light.

The DMMB Event Schedule

The headlining event at the Ball is the Costume Contest! DETAILS HERE.

Event Start: 3:00pm

   The official beginning of the event, though slightly early arrival is welcome and encouraged in order for everyone to be present and settled for the opening speech.

Welcome Speech: 3:15pm

   The Countess will deliver a speech to greet the guests and set the mood for the evening.

Mini Events: start at 3:30pm & last throughout the night

   Pumpkin Carving: Guests can choose a pumpkin to gut and carve into any fanciful face or design they see fit (within reason– PG please). Sharing art or images of your characters’ pumpkins in the event tag on Tumblr is encouraged! 

   Bobbing for Apples: Light-hearted competition; who can snag the most apples with only their mouths in a set amount of time?

Costume Contest Presentation: 4:00pm

   The participants of the Costume Contest will be gathered to show off their costumes one at a time before the winners are announced.

Wickerman Ceremony: 6:00pm

   The traditional burning of the Hallow’s End wickerman wherein the Countess will give a speech to bolster the morale and lift the spirits of the guests.

   Throughout the evening, there will be the chance to mingle and casually RP– the bar, buffet, and dance floor will make great ice-breakers, as will the mini-events, so the opportunities to interact will be plentiful!

We, The Azeroth Peace Council are a Horde side, multi-factional, multi-racial organization looking to come together for a united cause. We are ambassadors, interpreters, emissaries and general folk who just want to seek peace and spread it to others. As we get further into the expansion pack, many people are likely wondering what they can do that doesn’t require involvement in a war or serving their faction’s army. We want to provide an atmosphere where these ideas can be explored.

Moment of Sacrifice 

Skylana Redfern, once a Priestess of the Light who would use her power to mend, heal, and help those around her.  She felt it was her duty to the Light to use it for such good, rather than to use it for harm. After the fall of the Sunwell, Skylana lost her power of the Light, and assuming like the rest, that the Light has abandoned her. She felt without purpose and started to get used to her new life without the Light.

The elves, or blood elves which they were now known as survived by siphoning the needed energies from living beings and other sources. Unregrettably to some, they stole energy from weaker blood elves. As Skylana trained to become a heavy armored warrior, transferring away from Priesthood, she encountered a weakened and dying blood elf in the Ghostlands. He was a Paladin, but heavily known as a Blood Knight.  Skylana, no longer infused with the Light could barely help his injuries, and like a drug addict that came across even an ounce of something to get their high, Skylana's hunger for magic started to overcome her and cloud her vision and thoughts.

There was a moment when the sin'dorei would do anything to obtain the Light again, one of those things.. stealing it from an imprisoned Naaru. The ones who were known as Paladins who lost the Light, regained their purpose once they've stolen that needed energy from the captured Naaru. This is where the Order of the Blood Knights were born, and a gravely injured one lay right in front of her. In her mind, she didn't want to do this, but her hunger was too great as she reached out to his chest, siphoning the last of his energy from him. The sound of his breath left him just as fast as the energy she drained. She stood up over his lifeless body, observing the color returning to the skin of her hands. She felt better.. MUCH better. After her momentary recovery from the sustenance, guilt overtakes her as she looked over the man who lie still on the ground. "Never again.." said in a pitch of her voice as if she were inches away from crying.

When the Sunwell was finally restored, her body was reconnected with the powers of the Light once again, but something was different.. the Light had a faint red glow. No explanation could be given other than the sacrifice of the Blood Knight in the woods could be the cause of it, but no one was certain why.
