We had a bunch of new Sky Masters enter the flight just recently!
Thank you everyone for your interest, I had an event going on in my Discord server for people to get their own custom Volonumbrin :)
If you are not in my discord server but are interested in a custom, do not fret! I do plan on making customs more available soon. I am just wanting to flesh out the Sky Masters as a species more first.
More adoptables will be coming in the near future as well, so be on the lookout!
She was a DTA from @askdrakomod and I grabbed her owo This took a WHILE but was fun to draw. I need more practice with details and such anyways XD

Hello everyone! Long time no see! :D I’ve been very busy with real life things and commissions so I haven’t been able to give much attention to my Volonumbrin unfortunately. So this is here to change that, if only a little.
I have here four Draw To Adopt Volonumbrin
What is “draw to adopt?”
it’s just that, you can draw the dragon you want for a chance to adopt it as a new OC :) Please note that art quality is not a factor, if you believe you are bad at drawing but you still really want one I encourage you to participate, it really shows me how much you would love them.
Volonumbrin are currently a closed species so the only way to obtain them is through adoption events such as this or by purchasing one.
Rules:
you must draw the dragon yourself to enter
you may draw as many of them as you want, however you can only win one
no bases allowed
reblog, tag or submit your drawing of the dragon you want
you may change their markings and slightly alter their secondaries
you may not add any legendary traits or secondaries to your dragon that are not already existing.
I am looking for effort and interest, not art quality. Show me how much you want the derg, not how good of an artist you are or aren’t <3
These bases do not show variants in the spikes, fins, etc. you may add those yourself. More detailed rules on that under the cut.

look what I found while going through my old sketchbooks!!
These are old redesign ideas I had for the Sky Masters probably 3 years or more ago. I had been wanting to redesign them for years after I originally created them and this is probably the only proof I have besides how they are now XD
I feel like here they look too similar to many other dragon designs which is why you see some of these ideas more radicalized in the official Volonumbrin designs.
I’ve created a new secondaries mapping chart to give more artistic freedom, I am also hoping that this way it will be easier to read and understand.
Almost all Volonumbrin have at least one place with a secondary, it is more common to find a female without secondaries than a male.
Please note: secondaries that cover the leg and foot will also cover the palm. They are marked as rare if ONLY the palm has a secondary and not the rest of the foot.
