‘In that dream I thought the eastern sky grew dark and there was a growing thunder, but in the West a pale light lingered, and out of it I heard a voice, remote but clear, crying: Seek for the Sword that was broken: In Imladris it dwells; There shall be counsels taken Stronger than Morgul-spells. There shall be shown a token That Doom is near at hand, For Isildur’s Bane shall waken, And the Halfling forth shall stand.’

Note to Self: None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Eat the delicious food. Walk in the sunshine. Jump in the ocean. Say the truth that you’re carrying in your heart like hidden treasure. Be silly. Be kind. Be weird. There’s no time for anything else.

those words were the death sentence
that had been echoing in my mind
long before they found their way through my ears
”not good enough”
sharp edges that pierced the red part of my skin
I screamed and screamed but I heard no sound
please, I was looking at you through this scattered
vision of mine
because despite what they said about seven billion souls
haunted this planet
loneliness remained relevant
floating in the ocean, surrounded by endless horizon and burning sun
no way out. no way out.

When I was younger, I feared the monsters in the dark, the ones with the scary faces. But now, I fear humans in the light, especially the ones that smile at me.

How does a moment last forever? How can a story never die? It is love we must hold onto Never easy, but we try Sometimes our happiness is captured Somehow, our time and place stand still Love lives on inside our hearts and always will

Sometimes it feels like time moves too fast and I’m afraid I won’t be able to catch up– No. What I’m more afraid of is the knowledge that everything changes, whether we like it or not, whether we want to or not, whether we do it consciously or not. Even though most times the change is so subtle and gradual we don’t realize that we–or the world around us–have changed, knowing that nothing is eternal still scares me. Nothing lasts. These moments in our lives are so fleeting. Memories can be a bit painful to remember because with it comes the knowledge of how much time has passed and that time will still move on. Sometimes, I just want it to slow down enough to let me appreciate, love and savor every moment of my life.
