This is only tangentially related to the concept of your blog but if you ever need your Lego guy to have an absolutely huge afro, a headphone foam cover will fit perfectly
For sure I'd pick a different Lego man but yeah!
if i was a soccer player i'd simply kick that ball in the goal instead of wasting everyone's time
These boys got two very different ideas of a cottage getaway...
Everyone: I love that Heated Rivalry is a show about queer people falling in love. I wish there was a genre or other shows or something that were just about queer love. Too bad nobody else is making anything like that
Asian QL fans:
All these industries with shortages of workers and they can’t figure out why.
Im proposing the hypothesis that the reason we don’t have enough doctors/pilots/bus drivers/etc is that maybe, just maybe, having your entire industry function as a lifelong hazing ritual isn’t the best recruiting strategy.
Doctors are subject to 8 years of post-secondary education and are forced to work 48 hour shifts.
Pilots and other transportation workers have absurd hours of service requirements that start your rest period as “the moment you shut the vehicle down” and can be as short as 9 hours in some cases.
Railroad workers have to be available on-call 6 days a week and be ready within two hours notice. They don’t get sick time.
Retail workers have to keep a veneer of politeness against any and all abuse or they can be fired.
Truck drivers get paid by mileage and rarely see pay for shipper or receiver delays.
Work should not be designed to make you a miserable burnout and yet here we are.
i have understood so many things about online leftist culture by the fact that when i said "your local community has people you will morally and politically disagree with but you cannot lock them out of accessing any tangible service you’re organising" one of the tags responding said "this isn’t about proshippers in here you’re not welcome" like. folks. focus with me. some of us are homeless here.
There's a disconnect happening here because the primary function of social media for most casual users is to form a circle of friends around the usual things that friendships are built on: shared interests and lifestyles and ideas of what is important and what is unacceptable. When people are mainly doing leftism on social media, this encourages thinking of leftism as centered around establishing high-minded social clubs.
For anyone who still isn't getting it from someone who helps people IRL: There's a difference between whom you're helping to feed at the mealshare and whom you're choosing to hang out with for fun after the mealshare. You don't have to invite a hungry person with opinions you don't like to play board games with you, but you do have to help keep them from starving if you're serious about leftist organizing.

Acrylic is like what if there was a paint medium that dried so fast that you could never blend anything or get the right colour. And then oil paint is like what if you were always spending 40 dollars
Tae Jeong, you're a whole actual cop; why are you not more curious about why your good guy best friend has a person sized cage and a wall of weapons in his basement?
Why are we not questioning the person sized cage and the wall of weapons in the basement?
Like, acab and all, but also scarbatj (some cops are real bad at their job).
there's a lot going in The Lie We Lived In but most especially the food choices???? scrambled eggs and peanut butter??? pairing shrimp and pasta with ORANGE JUICE?????
So anyway I binged all of The Lie We Lived In and promptly crashed out at my bestie
You know I’d be lost without you guys, right? — Yes, honey!
Love in the Big City (2024)
hey so filming people without their consent is weird. you know that right? filming people you don't know and they aren't aware of what you're doing is creepy. posting strangers online is fucking weird. we're too comfortable with doing it now for shits and giggles, chasing some sort of viral hit instead of reckoning with the fact that you posted someone who did not consent to their body and face being publically used.
we're being pushed these Meta Glasses as if mass surveillance of strangers is fun and normal! it's weird!!! there are already reports that people are using these to film women without them knowing and sharing it to communities who get off on this shit. who else knows who people are filming. these glasses with cameras are not obvious and that is dangerous.
Okay but also this is legitimately dangerous. People hide from social media for very valid reasons. Domestic violence survivors, former trafficking victims, former cult members - all of these people rely on the ability to not be found again. Putting people's photos online absolutely endangers their lives. A cheap joke online is not worth the value of someone's life.
