I've been so annoyed recently. It seems like more and more people I just treating the idea that Ralsei is Asriel in some respect as fact. And I just genuinely do not believe that Toby Fox would put so many romantic scenes been Kris and Ralsei if they were meant to be siblings. Especially as Ralsei would almost certainly know and wouldn't blush around Kris etc. And Kris seems to find the idea ridiculous and they would know what their brother looks like. I think ppl thinking they are siblings is one of the main reasons they are such a rare pair. Bc otherwise they are so compelling.

Ah, yes... I'm kind of amazed that particular, let's charitably call it an interpretation, is still kicking after everything that's transpired in-game. I think those folks might be rather upset when Chapter 7 rolls around... call it a hunch.

That said, I'm not gonna pretend that Deltarune did a good job communicating that Ralsei and Asriel aren't one and the same. Chapter 2 in particular was a rough time for us Kralsei fans... and I guess that impression, combined with the "forced romance" theory that was going around at the time, contributed quite heavily to folks just completely disengaging with the pairing. In part I see the references to Kris insisting Ralsei looks nothing like Asriel as course-correction for how badly they bungled their relationship in Chapter 2.

But yeah, those guys are missing out big time, because man oh man, there is so much to dissect and unpack around these two, and we STILL don't know the full story behind them. Whatever it is, I'm so excited to see how it's all going to resolve :D
