hi! i discovered glimmer and phoenix through your tumblr and i really love it! i’m still trying to get that special ending in ep 13 it is i believe, i will get it. i also did another of your glimmer fics. you are really good and talented! i’ve even been inspired to make a fic, but could use some advice? i’ve never written a fic in this way before, what is the best way to start breaking down the fic with the prompts, background information, and so on?

how exciting you want to make your own fic and thank you for trusting me with advice on this ahh !!

I personally would say the more information the better with things like character profiles and the background information ! When you're coming up with ideas you could either put them all down in the background info section and later refine them orrrrr do the same thing but get your background information together in a separate doc and then add it into the glimmer storyteller. I would also think about where you want the story to go, maybe multiple story routes if this fits your story ? You can do this really nicely with linking different conclusions to different first turn texts in the following episode.

also what i do a lot before punishing an episode is test it a lot !! Test the multiple possibilities (if this applies) so you know where and how to tweak instructions for each scene. Speaking of, this will help with choosing how many turns the player will have per scene. I see the Scene Instructions as your non negotiables for the scene and the Scene Bits as things the storyteller can throw in to fill out the scene just that bit more ! For writing the Scene Plot you could write it as a general overview and if that works - great ! I find that sometimes when the scene has a long amount of turns though it can sometimes end earlier then you intend with the amounts of turns so at this point I would either: reduce the amount of turns in the scene or add some more info and detail to the scene plot !!

hi !!! not to worry at all ! I was definitely going to include him within it, I've actually planned the covers for an enhypen version and an ateez version too ! So hopefully that will be something to look forward to 🫶

so glad you're enjoying the bts version ! I do want to post these other versions soon just need to get their character profiles all sorted, so if there's any specific characteristics for either those groups that anyone can send in pls lmk bc that wld be very helpful !! 💕

I'm a bit more familiar with ateez than enhypen but I do appreciate both their music v much :)

hi no worries !! I think it was a general glimmer server issue or something but I did momentarily panic too thinking oh no where are my fics 😭😭 but I'm pretty sure it's fixed now !!

yes I would definitely consider making an enhypen one in the future ! it might take me a bit longer to get their personalities down as I don't know a lot about them (I could name them all and recognise them but I'm not in deep to know their quirks and that if you get me ? 😅) but yes long answer short is a yes ! 🫶🫶

BTS version of Roots Reconnected is up on glimmer, I've always been a fan of bts too, they were my first group that got me into KPOP back in 2017/2018 I think ? So especially with their recent comeback I couldn't help but make this. Also very handy that Glimmer has a duplication feature otherwise this would have been very long to recreate haha

OR I HAVE ONE MORE THING!! What if MC (or the main char) still tries to run away because they feel bad for like "being a burden" or they get really paranoid that they will "ruin the boys careers" (which we know they care more about you but MC doesn't know that—or at least won't acknowledge it) and like they find them again (I'm really just a sucker for running away HAHAHAH) (take your time with writing and know that I'll be here waiting!!)

THE LATEST CHAPTER DID NAWT DISAPPOINT! I AM CRYING, SCREAMING, AND WRIGGLING AROUND LIKE A WORM CAUSE WTF!!!
