Caprice laughed as his eyes took on a more predatory look in them as he took a step closer. “Ye are interestin’,” he remarked as the temperature noticeably dropped. “I may like gettin’ pegged by a lass and buggered every now and then by a man. But you, sweetheart... Ye will do anythin’ I ask b’cause yer interested an’ ye dinna have the strength ‘o mind ta dominate me.”

“Whoa, look at that. You didn’t buy this from a baked? I’m impressed.” Salem reached out and pulled Caprice in for a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you. It means a lot.”

Charcoal eyes glittered as Caprice actually smiled, not smirking, at Salem. “O course I baked this,” he remarked after the kiss on his cheek. “Ye deserve nothin’ but the best, even if I have ta steal it fer ye.”

“I hate you. I’ve never done anything wrong in my life til you came along. This is going to be on my record! I’ll never get a job!” Salem folded his arms as he yelled at Slade through the bars.

Salem shivered. “I wasn’t talking about that!” He shoved Caprice away, hurt in his eyes. “Were you using me just to get some stupid artifacts? The second you met me did you decide that you’d trick me into believing everything you said and waited til the perfect moment and get what you wanted?” He felt betrayed right now, secretly hoping that Caprice never lied to him.

“I may be a thief, but I ne’er lied ta ye!” Caprice exclaimed as his eyes flashed blue and then went all black. “I dinna know how ye think that I used ye t’get the artifacts, but get that fuckin’ thought outta yer mind! Those artifacts are important! They be from a clan that was destroyed o‘er a thousand years ago! A clan that took me in, fed me, an’ raised me b’fore the Archangel Michael came and destroyed them fer harborin’ me! An’ I was thinkin’ that ye may help in gettin’ those back. Would ye have b’lieved me if I told ye? Ne’er mind tha’...” At that, the thief grabbed Salem’s arm once more and teleported them back to the young male’s apartment and then disappeared himself in a blast of cold air.

“I’ve got stamina, Darling. Don’t you worry your pretty face about that.” A grin and a wriggle of his brows, all for amusement really as he clicked his tongue. “If you’re a good boy and ask, I could show you.”

“Ye are an interestin’ man, tha’s fer sure.” Caprice matched Vincent’s grin with a feral one of his own. “Ye should know by now that I am not a good man. I am a thief an’ I just make ye show me.”

Salem stepped back from Caprice, still pissed off at him. “Still. I am in jail. I am behind those bars because of you and I listened to your lies. You were using me the entire time. I don’t want to stay here, what kind of question is that?” he snapped, clearly upset.

Caprice narrowed his eyes and came closer towards Salem, the air getting colder in the jail cells. “An’ where did I lie t’ye?” the thief hissed as he grabbed the young man’s arm.and pulled him even closer. “I told ye that we were ta be liberatin’ some rare artifacts that dinna belong ta them in the first place! They b’long ta the people of Scotland an’ I will make sure they go back!”

Benji removed his hands from his pockets and folded his arms over his chest, raising his own eyebrow at the comment from him.

“Well you’re more than welcome to test that theory out if you’re really that unimpressed.” he replied, staring at him. When he indicated for him to lead on, Benji sighed, beginning to walk towards a nearby cafe. There had been some quiet looking booths when he had passed.

Caprice let out a full-bellied laugh at that and leered at Benji, his charcoal eyes raking over the man. “Ye are goin’ t’be a challenge, I can see that,” he remarked as he followed the other to a cafe. Glancing around, he then took charge and made for a booth in the back and sat in a spot where he could see everything in the cafe.

“So, Benji is it? Are ye goin’ ta pay fer me t’eat an’ drink while ye be talkin’ t’me?”

Benji approached the man, hands in his pockets as he studied him.

“My name’s Benji. I’m with the IMF.” he replied, quietly. “Is there somewhere we can talk in private?”

Caprice raised an eyebrow and lit his cigarette, taking a long drag from it and lazily blowing the smoke. “Ah, I see,” he began as he flicked the ashes away from his cigarette. He didn’t speak again until he finished smoking, grinding the cigarette butt under his heel.

“Yer the one they send after me? I mus’ be slackin’ then... ye dinna look like ye can last in a fight. But why not an’ listen t’what they say so lead on.”
