Thinking about Bel and her fashion choices and it is comfy medical meets your always cold grandma. Everything she wears is soft and cozy with the odd doctor or nurse's coat thrown on top of it. She shuffles around in Crocs (A gift from Bee, as are the Sin themed jibbitz she doesn't understand that are on them) and if Crocs are "inappropriate" it is 50/50 slippers or flats.

Whenever she has to dress up it is loose dresses, soft tops or blouses, skirts, and cardigans she can wrap herself in. At any moment's notice it can become a walking sleeping bag/pile of clothes in the corner snoring away.

Illusions projected from the glass ball in front of her recreated rolling golden clouds and music. She curled her hand around it, almost feeling the warmth of the divine again. And then it fell away to the illusion it truly was.

Lucifer did not visit often. And when he did, he made her nostalgic. These are both dangerous things.

" Do you ever miss it ? " Another projection. This time yawning fields of green she hand made for those first humans. " Enough to regret it ? " There was no bite to her question. It left her as all things did now in a flat monotone dripping with disinterest.

But her eyes gave her away. How they clung to the Garden in her memory. When she fell, it was that very grass she cracked through. Some maintenance that made her question, so brief but so disastrous, what was the point of fixing it at all ? How naive she had been.

Another family we would like to round out are the Seven Deadly Sins! This chaotic group run the seven rings of Hell, all with specialties and unique attributes, along with a long history. Satan : Sin and Ruler of Wrath. He influenced the creation of imps, one of the main workforce species in Hell. He has quite the temper(he's working on it) and is the Strong Man of the group, proving it in every workout video he puts out. Asmoedus : Sin and Ruler of Lust. He influenced the creation of the Concubi(succubus and incubus demons) and develops all manner of toys for your pleasure. He has an active Fizzarolli waiting for him to plot with. Belphegor : Sin and Ruler of Sloth. She influenced the creation of the Baphomet demons, the primary physicians throughout the rings. Please be patient, you will be called for you appointment in a few years. She develops medication and has several rehabs through her rings that she might look in on between extended naps.

The matters of life and death had fascinated Belphegor even before her Fall. She had heard that humans could do such feats, create life but in ways that differ from their creator. Even their Hellborn had found ways to multiply and Asmodeus had laughed at her when she asked how. Explained it later in detail while she wrote the more...informative description of how such acts result in reproduction.

But this was new.

Her hands hovered over the Queen's stomach until she felt it again. A heartbeat, thrumming half golden with angelic power. She pulled them away and tried to find the words. An apology. The amount of times her search had come up empty and the attempt at empathy blunted by clumsy honesty. I didn't think it would take.

" It is true. My Lady, you are with child. " It was too early to know anything else and she was hesitant to bring their hopes up. The fall would be...

" My congratulations to you and the King both. "

It was rare for one of her own to seek her out like this. As Sins, they tended to get twitchy outside of their own domains. Being in the eye watering neon Lust or the wilds of Gluttony often left her sapped in body and strength. Satan in Sloth was like a red tear through her cloudy cozy domain. She would laugh if she had the mind...

" You wish for a therapist ? " The little vial she was filling overflowed and she sighed. One of her own candle heads will fix it. For now she dropped the medicine mix and wiped her hands clean. " I could make you one...but— " She gestured at him. At his, Sataness. " He will more delicate that those of Wraith. And making one takes so much energy. "

Just thinking about it her head started to droop.

.Bel's candle dims and brightens with how awake / aware she is.

When sleeping her flame is barely noticable almost flickering in and out. Neutral is a normal flame with the odd dim as her interest goes in and out. If she is in her monsterous/angry form it is a blazing purple fire that takes on a jagged form. This form is exhausting to keep up and goes out in a matter of minutes. She cannot enter it again for awhile no matter how angry or upset she maybe. The emotions go away with it and she likely falls back asleep.

Her candle does not produce any actual wax or grow smaller. It is warm to the touch and can burn sinners and hellborn alike if she is not careful. It has no impact on other Sins.

.lil notes about how I write Bel, her characterization, & why

Timber is very methodical and distant. Describes everything like it is a case study. Beyond her obvious medical background even big emotions are hard for her so the distance helps her from getting invested. Make her come across a lil cold which she doesn't like about herself.

Blunt and self aware but still in a very Sin way.

Will get haughty about weird things that is 90% of the time just Sin Shit or Leftover Virtue Drama.

STUBBORN!!!

Full names only. Genuinely don't know why, probably some weird law in her head that Sins should use their full names only. Not beating the old lady allegations. (She will also get pissy if you mention her going by Bel. See prior point.)

Stop calling her an old lady.

Physicality wise is not relaxed but actually very tense unless asleep. Staying awake is a challenge so when standing she tends to keep tucked into herself. Only really relaxes around Bee and Ozzie but sudden noises and those shoulders are pinched.

On the verge of a meltdown all the time but no she's not.

In private at her home or around those she trusts those dense ass walls come down. She'll be more open and comfortable to info dump and even smile some. Just the reality of professional engagements drain her of her spoons so much.
