My first blog post, kinda nervous. Anyway, WHO GOT THEIR ARTFIGHT REFS DONE?!?! I GOT MY ARTFIGHT REFS DONE!! Did I just reuse some art of a character that's a little difficult to color pick in order to be "on time"... maybe, but that's beside the point! I'm prepared for BATTLE!
I have had one hell of a time figuring out the color palette for this man. I only had drawings of him in my sketchbook, and I don't use color when I sketch... I couldn't even. 😩 I decided to greyscale his clothes and call it a day. I like him better that way anyway, and got carried away with the background. 🤭 (left one was my first attempt and right one is the final product)
Anywho, enough ranting. This is Daniel! He's part of my new circus universe I'm working on. He will be on Artfight 👀
I'm realizing that PNGs look a lot better than JPEGs, so I think I'll start exporting my art as PNGs from now on. Anywho, This is Ines! It took me a couple of tries to get her color palette right, but I think it looks good now. I took a good break from drawing, and now I'm back and ready for artfight!
I love this, but am lowkey tired of making these. ANYWAY, this is my baby Celian!! I changed her design a little bit while making this, but I love it 🥰 I am now going to do something that is NOT art bc I am burnt, and I want to have enough energy for Artfight.
I'm thinking now that anytime I'm working on a project that's taking longer than it should, I'll post my progress on here to motivate me to finish. Hopefully it will work because I really want to finish this soon! I have this one plus three more to go 😭 Wish me luck
Finally made my gamecard on time. I still have to upload the last three characters on here to Artfight, but it should get done... hopefully. Anyway, I can't wait for Artfight and will continue to do my prep for it. (making character ref sheets)
Look at this really cool thing I just did in the past in 2 1/2 hours. The voices... they took over me... and now I have cool art :) This is Maestro, my shiny new character🥰
Actually finishing a digital art piece I started?? WHAT!? I'm very happy with how this turned out and have more on the way. SUPER excited for Artfight this year and may or may not already have a hit list 😏

A few things led to this drawing... Firstly, I LOVE PIRATES!!!! You do not understand the love I have for this genre and everything about it!! I justg dshjvflzeks;flghuao... Secondly, this was just supposed to be a warm-up before I worked on another project, but I got a little carried away while listening to Yo Ho! from Sea of Remnants on repeat.
