I love how in Dinner in America everyone besides Simon and Patty, especially their families, are portrayed through really stupid dialogues that seem hysterical and pointless. It’s through Simon and Pattys perspective and both of them were ostracized by their families and given the title of the movie and what Simon was saying about society that whole part was perfect writing in my opinion.
