I’m a really early riser and have had weird sleeping patterns since I was young (waking up at 4-6am everyday) so reverse insomniac just made sense lol. And Reve is just from reverse

I think that if anyone were to ever get Nolan or Makarov’s personal phones they’d be shocked with the amount of random bullshit on it. Like we forget that they’re still humans and have access to stuff like memes…

also Makarov is the emoji user out of the two of them and he actually uses them correctly. And yes, he also can use slang correctly. Nolan, on the other hand, cannot.

Theres something golden to me about imagining Makarov with a vape. I know many picture him with a cigarette, and yes it’s more thematically fitting but CMON.

Imagine him with like a yellow MASKING or a pick Umbrella or wtv. Like I’m not an experienced vaper (like I don’t even own one I just take hits from my friends but if you saw me irl you’d think that it’s very thematically fitting that I vape/smoke) but it’s just too funny not to imagine this guy who has a terrorist organization sitting in his office and smoking a strawberry lemonade milkshake flavored air stick.

theres something to me about male characters being forced into “feminine” roles. Maybe it’s because of the inherent horror of growing up as a boy who was treated misogynistically that I see myself in those characters more often than not. (I was a very feminine kid in a VERY misogynistic environment, so you can imagine how that turned out for me)

My whole blog is about Makarov, basically. For some reason, I’ve always seen him as a version of myself. Maybe it’s why I enjoy writing him so much but at the same time kinda pushing my own internalized gender issues onto him.

Thing is, I’ve always done this. It’s my repeating pattern. But seeing other people write those characters like that, it’s validating. It makes me feel like my experience (and appearance) are wanted, in a way.

Maxim never ever dresses up for Halloween, it’s a known fact among the Konni. Neither does Makarov, or Nolan, but those would be the people you expect to not do anything.

However, this year around, Maxim finds himself standing in front of a mirror, dressed as black cat. Or well, that was what Diev told him he was supposed to be. He has one of those dumb cat ear hair bands and a a clip on tail. It looks wonky and sits crooked on him because of his crutch, but it strangely makes him smile.

Diev was like a sister to him, he’s know her for most of his life, she’s a soldier like no other and she’s one of the few people who saw him immediately after the fire. Who’s been there through all the pain he went through.

so yeah, she’s pretty important to him.

So when he walks out in costume, for the first time in forever, he takes it in stride.

Nolan simply isn’t hard enough of heart to take the racer to jail or even to custody. Mak just has too much charisma and also is too attractive to not let go.

Interesting!! For me personally, I’ve always imagine Mak as the guy who’s behind the scenes making everything work but pit crew Nolan isn’t a bad idea.

the only bad part is that the pit crew are a decently big group so maybe Nolan is some sort of head person in said pit crew? Like a captain maybe? Eeeh, depends how you see it.

Mak as a driver would be a road rager, I’m sure, many an iconic radio message would come from him. He is most definitely the controversial fan favorite.

Driver Nolan who’s always pushing the car as far as it’ll go and his race engineer Vladimir, who’s known for being hard on his drivers but also always getting them good results.
