i grew up talking openly about periods especially with others who have cycles. i very often use it as honest explanation, i’m not going to hide that i’m experiencing it when you can also visibly see that i have been uncomfortable all day. why is everyone so brain washed to think something that happens once a month is so embarrassing. “ why do you have to go to the bathroom again, you just got back” “ well i got my period so i kinda have to deal with that” “ omg didn’t need to know that that’s so tmi” that’s just one example. this is why we all are scared and don’t understand our bodies the way we should, sometimes we even get silenced because it’s inappropriate. we learned about all of this either by someone close in your life or through a HEALTH class (i consider sex ed to be a health class). we are talking about the natural health we go through. i can understand it’s gross, i understand time and place for a REAL tmi but for it to be considered shameful as a whole is so fucked. i also feel like boys should also learn about periods, maybe they could even comprehend a third of it as a base line. the world just hates women, we all came from one, we all came from a womb.

so yes i will continue to openly talk about “having my monthly” for i will always have someone’s back and hope that others may learn.

What hair dye do you use?

What was your dying process?

ofc baddie!! i use iro iro and the unicorn dye from sally’s either mixing them for more dimension or just plainly (other good brands are the good dye young and manic panic) my process is basically just sectioning out my hair for design pieces if chosen and using both the brush and my hands to work in the dye. i often let the dye sit for around two hours just to be sure then rinse and shampoo on cold, if you have some type of color sealer (ion one is good) to lock it in. hope this helps pooks 💋
