My favorite thing from Panera rn is a bowl of tomato soup. I love to rip the little baguette chunk into pieces and then dunk them in the soup and forget about them for a while and then fish em out and gobble the soup soaked bread chunks like they’re juicy pieces of raw meat.

Sera said it was the most autistic thing I’d said in a minute.

I posit that I am enhancing my eating experience.

Like come on who doesn’t make ice cream soup and meatloaf mashed potatoes and broccoli landscapes. Tf outta my face with your lies 🤪

Fruit. Cottage cheese. Wheat thins. Chicken salad. Two different kinds of green olives, Cadbury mini eggs, diet Dr Pepper.

I will take three bites of everything and pass out.

This entire time? I thought I was being vulnerable. I thought my willingness to share the ins and outs of my trauma and experience was vulnerability in action!

I believed writing my poems and making my little glass trinkets was being raw- exposing myself at the risk of criticism or pain.

I threw myself into relationships believing that sharing my anxieties and fears was a vulnerable bid for connections or commiserations.

But as I go I’m learning none of that was vulnerability.

I was trauma dumping. I was attention-seeking. I was clinging to really unhealthy coping mechanisms like co-dependency.

But now that I know I haven’t been genuinely vulnerable, where do I go from here?

I’m reading Daring Greatly by Brené Brown right now at my therapist’s recommendation. And so far there isn’t much in the way of solutions. Just reminders of the slog through grief and the constant SHAME alerts.

I need solutions. I hate platitudes and I’m not here for affirmations.

Everything makes me uncomfortable, love. I do a lot of things every day that make me uncomfortable. Make no mistake- I’m not some hyper-intellectual who thinks they’re above the science of it all. Truly, I’m former gifted burnout and average at best but my sympathetic nervous system got Delta Force training minus precision.

I just want to get to a point where I’m not feeling like I’m controlling a sim with approximately 14 preloaded catchphrases and the calm setting set to negative dicking fuck.

And to also stop feeling like everyone I know merely tolerates me.

I’ve been gone and weird and sad and busy and this place was/still does give me worse vibes when the vibes are already off.

I once again let communication become a frog, a demand left ignored too long it became a thing to avoid. I am sorry and I will try to do better in the future and thank you for loving me anyway.

I might be doing some photo dumps soon. My life isn’t terribly exciting but it’s still mine and I should at least put it out there I suppose.

For now here’s me in my hotel room on day three busting ass in Dallas. Shiny TikTok sports bra hybrid with an external underwire- changed my life for the gig but oh my god at the back popping I needed the second I walked in the door. Can’t figure out if that’s from carrying around this huge dong everywhere or if it’s from the 8000lb sacks of flesh dangling from my chest.
