That time Matt and I got hypnotized.
So since you guys still sound pretty interested in what happened, I'll give you a few more details. Sound good?
Alright so basically it was my bro Matt’s idea to go to this hypnosis show on campus. His brother had talked to him about it or something. I was pretty hungover thay day but figured what the hell, I could just sit in the audience and watch people make a fool outta themselves on stage, you know? From what I knew, hypnosis made people do some pretty dumb stuff.
So when it started, the hypnotist began picking people off the audience and Matt ended up being on of them! I laughed my ass off obviously, and so Matty went. The hypnotist dude began doing some weird relaxation exercises and the people on stage began to go with it. This was when things started to get pretty trippy.
I don’t know why but the dude’s words became so clear and loud in my head. Not sure if it was the hungover or what, but my head began feeling real heavy. I remember watching Matt slump down his chair with his eyes barely open and then, the dude said “deep sleep” and I felt mysef fall asleep right there, like I’d been knocked out or something.
I remember laughter around me and before I knew it I was walking towards the stage. Everyone seemed like they were asleep. Matt was sprawled on the floor, practically snoring. I knew I would have laughed at him but for some reason I didn’t feel like it. I just felt like sitting down on one of the chairs. I did and watched the hypnotist walk over me. He sorta smiled at me and then I fell asleep again.
Brace yourselves because things get even weirder from here on out. When I woke up, I was sitting next to Matt. A phone began to ring and I knew it was for me, somehow. So I took off my shoe and held it over my ear, tring to pick up the call. Matt did the same. Seriously don’t ask us why cause we have no damn clue, alright? I know it sounds pretty stupid but at the time it seemed perfectly alright. Obviously, no one answered and then the dude knocked us out again.
Then came the dancing. I know you guys have seen it so I don’t need to explain it. I just remember the howling from the audience, me and Matt walking forward and then the music started and we held each other. People were laughing I think, but I could only hear the dude’s words and the music. It’s weird but I feel like I can hear it right now. So damn slow and felt so nice. He asked us to let our minds go while we danced and everything felt so nice.
