So… I’ve been thinking about their story and this what i got:

David Seville was an up-and-coming human musician in Toontown. He wasn’t famous by any means, but he managed to land gigs here and there and dreamed of making it big someday.
After a painful breakup with his girlfriend, David found himself reflecting on his future. More than anything, he realized he wanted a family. The problem was that he could barely afford to keep the lights on as it was. Who would want to start a family with an aspiring musician struggling to make ends meet?
After receiving some advice from friends, David decided to visit a local orphanage—not necessarily to adopt, but simply to see what his options were.
There, he met a small chipmunk named Theodore. The two immediately hit it off. Theodore was sweet, friendly, and eager to talk. Before long, he excitedly brought over two other chipmunks and introduced them as his brothers: Alvin and Simon.
David was surprised. While sibling groups in orphanages weren’t uncommon, he hadn’t expected to meet three inseparable brothers.
One of the caretakers noticed his confusion and explained their situation. Most adoptive parents were couples looking to adopt only one child. The chipmunks had connected with plenty of applicants over the years, but every time they asked whether their brothers would be adopted too, the applicants became hesitant. And when the answer was no, the boys immediately refused the adoption. They would rather stay together in the orphanage than be separated.
Their story tugged at David’s heartstrings.
What began as a casual visit quickly became one of the most important decisions of his life. David adopted all three brothers and welcomed them into his home.
As they grew up, David did his best to give them a normal childhood. However, it soon became clear that the boys possessed an extraordinary gift. Their naturally high-pitched voices blended perfectly together, and each of them showed remarkable musical talent.
Under David’s guidance, the Chipmunks began performing both on and off stage. Before long, they had become musical prodigies, with David proudly serving as their manager and father.
Years later, their talent caught the attention of Toontown’s Entertainment Department, which recruited them for even greater opportunities.
Sadly, not long afterward, David was diagnosed with a well-known but incurable disease. Despite every effort to treat it, no cure existed. His illness eventually claimed his life, leaving a lasting impact on the brothers.
For Simon especially, the loss shaped his future. Witnessing David’s struggle and the inability of doctors to save him sparked a deep interest in medicine, inspiring Simon to dedicate himself to studying diseases and searching for cures.
