i think it’s obvious that noko is meant to parallel mito. she even looks younger than gon just based on her height. i think the plot will lead gon to leave noko at whale island like ging left mito. if noko ends up coming along she’ll be seen as a little sister for gon like alluka is for killua. but i can’t see gon ever liking her back even if she does have a crush on him.
Due to the lack of information and screen time of Noko it is possible that she could serve as a parallel to Mito and Ging, or Killua and Alluka or even both. Another anonymous brought forth the idea that Gon will break the cycle of abandonment through Noko by taking her with him on his adventure, and I think this could be a plot point that does make sense and I would like to see it (more about that can be found here).
Since Noko was introduced (as an idea rather as a character cause she has not made a proper appearance yet) I liked to think that she could be part of Gon's journey towards growth, making friends with a normal kid might give him some clarity about his life.
Also, personally my first thought concerning the panel leak was that both boys share a sibling dynamic with the girls they spent time with respectively, which is meant to foreshadow their role of taking care of baby Woble and highlight that they are the right people for the job.
Things are too limited when it comes to Noko so I cannot say whether she has a crush on Gon or not, the vibe I am getting is that she is probably looking up at him and is happy to have a friend on an island where no other kids are present to help them escape their loneliness. This is just an assumption though, when it comes to her feelings it all remains to be seen.
About Gon's feelings, firstly I am going to try and answer without being biased by my ship.
Knowing Gon, he does not seem particularly interested in pursuing any romantic relationships, he was always too goal-orientated which was one of the things that caused problems in general, including his relationship with Killua. I think Gon re-thinking his relationship with Killua and where they went wrong takes priority for him over being interested romantically in anyone else for the moment.
Now as a shipper, I cannot imagine Gon ever be interested in someone romantically and that someone not being Killua, simply because of how important Killua's presence was to Gon's life and while it is treated lightly by the narrative, Gon declares over and over again in his own ways and words that Killua is basically his most important person.
The first thing that popped in his mind after being in a coma and almost losing his life was to apologize to Killua because he recognized that he hurt a person that is dear to him.
When they are on Whale Island he was the one who asked Killua how he feels about their friendship and asked him to stay with him. It might not be clearly stated but this shows that he wanted to be with Killua just as much Killua wanted to be with Gon.
When they are attacked by Pitou and Kite dies Gon ends up blaming himself but he never directed any of that guilt and blame towards Killua. On the opposite, he thanked him for saving his life. Gon was willing to die to compensate for his guilt but he was never willing to let Killua throw his life away. Gon values Killua's life way more than his own.
The first thing he wanted to do when he would meet Ging, the father he never knew, was to introduce him to Killua.
When they parted ways it was Gon who admitted he had a hard time saying goodbye cause he knew if he delayed one more second he would not be able to let go of Killua.
All these things show that Killua is as huge part of Gon's world like Gon is of Killua's. It is just often overshadowed by the narrative focusing more on Killua's inner feelings and reactions instead (which seems to be very on purpose on Togashi's part, as if he wanted to focus on one boy's emotions at a time). We all talk about Killua's feelings and how they stem from how Gon's presence changed his life, but the same can and should be said about Gon. Killua also had a huge impact on Gon like no other person did.
Gon is basically always thinking of Killua and envisions a life where he is always present. So I cannot imagine Gon wanting to spend the rest of his life with someone and that someone not being Killua when he can't stop thinking about him being a huge part of all his important life events.
