Hiiii, long time no see nonnies~! I would like to pop into the convo real quick to say that I am a Christian, and I am currently friends with a satanist! I am not as familiar with laveyan Satanist’s but I am familiar with satanists who are actually just atheist/agnostic and see the devil as a figure of rebellion instead of a symbol of evil.

It’s very rare to find someone who worships the literal devil in the sense the way you think of. Of course, I disagree, but when someone says they’re a satanist, they probably aren’t thinking of the devil the same way most Christians do (or should). It’s the same word with two different meanings.
