The Spy, remembering Dodo's interest in arachnids, was nice enough to drop a scorpion onto his shoulder. Sure, it was on the battlefield and the man had been cloaked, but what good was a gift if it wasn't a surprise?
Dodo didn't even notice till one of the scouts he'd been healing had a conniption over the friend on his shoulder. "Ah! how'd you get here?!"
He carefully plucked it off his labcoat and placed it on the ground close to a nice rock to hide under. its was one of the little browns, they did have a potent sting but thankfully rubber was near impenetrable form the little bug.
"Wait, is that a complete disguise? like in the pants? I need to know for science!" Dodo's feathers stood on end suddenly excited about certain things. Though he took a few deep breaths and reigned it in. "Do you have one in mind? I know mostly blu medics, and a doctor on contract but he works with splices." Which Joe was not a splice. Plus Ebner would be unlikely to take a referral from dodo.
"...?" Joe wasn't sure what Dodo meant by his pants, but he offered the Medic his mask to try on. The masks weren't really much of a disguise if he bumped into anyone, but they projected the appearance of other mercenaries. Joe had never been curious to try looking inside the clothes, mostly because looking at himself when he had a mask on gave him a nasty sort of feeling. It was like looking at a lenticular picture from the exact wrong angle. Like two pictures, superimposed over each other, but very poorly.
