It's me Madam! Or, according to @/h0ll0wt0wn, simply just 'Gooner'...I guess now I'm 'Lover'? Nah, Gooner's just more my brand. My accounts randomly got terminated and I'm waiting for them to come back. If Tumblr responds and I get my accounts back, THIS WILL BECOME AN ARCHIVE / ALT!

Currently, @grandconspiracycomic is unable to be accessed right now due to side blog issues. I'm working on that too! If it doesn't come back, then I'll have to make a whole other account. Yay!

What is your process of drawing pages?

Well uh...

I think the most important step is to already know what it is you're going to draw. that way you dont waste a bunch of time starting over because you're unsatisfied with the shot.

We got some layers with customized titles

Normally we begin with either the background layer where we put the panel template or get some gesture lines done on the character layer. BUT if you wanna draw stuff in the panel of a comic, HIGHLY recommend putting a marker on where you want to put the text space.

I asked Red to help with perspective. Then I add details. as for which I add detail to first between the background or the characters really varies to me personally.

After tons of rough sketching, we work toward lineart

Once good enough I switch to coloring

Then the shading and details. Red says this helps when making the object look 3d or something

And then finishing touches.

And that's just the cover. Not even gonna get into all the shot composing or the panel composing or the other stuff. Its basically this process but for each individual panel. Of course we prefer showing the characters in a dynamic pose to emulate them in motion and whatnot.

Anyhow, yeah I just used this ask as a way to show off the cover for entry 3. since thats gonna begin illustrating now.

This should set the tone for entry 3
