As the water rose, Marie hugged her aunt. She trusted her not to let go and let her sink, but still, the princess couldn't help but feel nervous.

Ariel remembered when her daughters tried to learn how to walk. It is no different that learning to swim. The mermaid remains close, but slowly releases her grip while Marie does not notice. @slipperheiress

It wasn't everyone who learned how to swim from a mermaid, and while Marie-Alexandra didn't have fins or a tail, she was doing fairly well without realizing it.

The story of Queen Elsa's coronation had reached their little kingdom not long after the event.

Marie-Alexandra had been horrified at the thought of something similar happening to her. True she had no magic, unless you counted having a fairy godmother as having magic.

But still, the thought was terrifying.

"Do you foresee the talks being successful, Your Grace?"

"It can be," Marie-Alexandra admitted, she didn't want to complain. She understood that as a princess having friends her own age would always be difficult.

"I like going out to the farmhouse though, it's nice, and everyone is friendly and not just because I'm the princess."
