time is running out for illusio and i want to cry. trying to get through my list before they take my favorite toy away again.

my fingers are crossed that valko gets released and illusio gets extended asap

one of the things i think about regularly, with the more recent raf lore and main story insights, is how young rafayel actually is. unlike xavier and sylus, the story points more to him being close to his actual age rather than having been around for a really long time in his current form. a few things still make me question that, but i often sit with the idea that rafayel is also regaining memories of his past lives.

there is an underlying current in how he handles things and speaks of things that suggests he doesn't know quite as much as he appears to. possibly as others expect him to. is he's really just a young man having to sort through random glimpses of lifetimes while carrying the weight of an entire people on his shoulders?

how hard and confusing it must be, then, to be hit with tragic memories, struggling to filter if it fits who he is now, who he was, or who he is supposed to be.
